    Hi all,
Tried reclaiming on a flexi loan that I had for over 10 years, which ended in 2006. The PPI cost was £2.01 a month, which I paid for 10 years.

A FOS form sent to HSBC, and they upheld my complaint, however, they refused to pay up as it is over 6 years.
Any advice on what to do next? I have about 6 months of statements until the loan ended Sept 2006.

Since six months of statements would net you a grand total of £12.06 plus 8% interest, I'd be asking if it's worth the effort.
£2.01 per month is £24.12 a year, so only £241.20 for ten years!

I am delighted - received letter today stating they have upheld my complaint and offering refund of all premiums plus interest. Over £9000 - am very happy to say the least :j

Thanks for all the support and advice on this site.

Just waiting now on two Lloyds TSB loans, CapOne credit card and BOS preference account.
    Success so far:

Bank charges refund plus interest: over £6000 :j
Mortgage PPI refund plus interest: over £9000 :j

    Hi
I am looking for advice from anybody on a ppi claim i am trying to make. It is through Black Horse Ltd amd goes back to a loan i had with them from 2003 to 2007. I have written to the company twice trying to get the paperwokl of my loan as unfortunately i dont have my agreement number but they are telling me they no longer have any of my file on their database.
I then tried to get it through my bank from the direct debit payments but again they no longer have this on their file.
Is their any other options open to me? :(

the bank will have it. i had a loan from 2004 and when i rang my bank they said they dont go back that far, but i managed to get a lovely lady to look. so dont give up x

    Hi all

quick question I have received a letter from HSBC saying that they will uphold my complaint on a credit card if I can prove how much they owe me as it is longer than 6 years ago and they no longer have the statements. I don't have any statements and am not sure what to do now.

Also the 8 week time limit on my complaint with Barclaycard was 2nd May and they sent me a letter saying that they haven't reached a decision yet and need more time to look into it. What are the rules now?

    Thanks in anticipation x
