Hi there
I agree with Cappo, at this point chase them up, or even give them a ring, or send an email, either way, hopefully you will get some good news soon, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Does anyone out there know who the bank Providian is now? I have heard conflicting reports, some one has said that Barclays bought them out....0

Hi onslow have 8 weeks gone by? if they have you could fos this although there are massive hold ups in the system at the moment, i'd be inclined to just phone them and ask what they are doing.Onslowette wrote: »Hi, yes the 8 weeks have gone by. A letter takes a long time in itself, of course. I'm also with Cappo that you should ring them. The only problem is that the numbers they provide always seem to be jammed.:mad:0 -

It seems they were bought by Barclays and are "Monument" now. There is an address in Crawley mentioned at the link, but I have no idea whether this is current.0 -

Sorry if this is a daft question, but I seem to come across several addresses for Lloyds TSB for PPI reclaim, can someone let me know which is the right one? It was for a loan.

Hi all , i hope i am in the right place. last week i phoned llyods tsb ppi complaints line to see how my claim was going, got excellent news that they were refunding 21000k for 10 loans going back years i assume. they said they have posted letters to that effect(havent had anyhting through yet) and that i do not have to do anything as i accepted the offer on the phone , it all sounds to good to be true... but i have phoned more or less everyday and they all say the same thing. Does this sound okay? how do they refund it? is it into my current account cheque ect.
i think as i have no paperwork to see in black and white what is being refunded i am anxious ..... its a lot of money. I went to my branch to see if they could show me anything, no joy.
has anyone else been in this situation ? not bothered about when i get the money just want to see that i am!!!
thank you0 -

Hi pip thats great, don't worry a friend of mine got 34k just the same way, they originally awarded him 12k then changed it to the 34, what about that eh, if they've told you 21k thats good obviously it's better in writing and in your bank account but hey i'm sure you'll get it, payment if you don't owe them anything will probably be by cheque, Well Done :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::money::money::money::money::money::D:D:D:D:D:D:D:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T;););)0 -
