Read the letter. It will explain it. Quite possibly it is that your complaints were rejected and did not qualify under the Plevin ruling.0 -

I’ve got all of the original paperwork, but searching through the forums I couldn’t spot any success stories, and DAF aren’t in the Resolver drop down menu
Is it still worth pursuing?
No
1 - its pre-regulation
2 - the company that sold it to you does not exist any more.0 -
Hi, my husband did our PPI claim some time ago but my elderly mum has just decided to try to claim for PPI after all. She has given me a list 9 different catalogue accounts , credit cards and loan agreements she’s had. I was going to use the quick claim tool here but do I have to put in 9 different claims ? Would I be better to use a claims handler in the circumstances and is it worth it as the amount involved is probably relatively small ( I’ve no idea and nor has she now)
Thanks0 -
You'll need to make nine separate complaints. A Claims Management Company won't be able to assist you other than to charge you 20% (plus VAT) for simply submitting those complaints on your behalf.
To be blunt, the whole exercise is probably futile at this late stage unless you have documentary proof that there was definitely PPI on this long ago finance..0 -
Bit confused. I have a list of banks that I have used. Don't know if have had PPI so I'd like to check using Resolver.
There are 2 options - Do I need to use the Pelvin option?
Can I do a ppi check for multiple banks or will it make me raise a new case for each bank and re-enter all my data?
I know it's a bit last minute.
Thanks for your help.0 -
There is literally no time to check now, and for the love of god please do not use Resolver just go direct to any lenders you wish to submit a complaint0

I was under the impression that by asking if you have had ppi, that automatically qualifies as a complaint.0

Hi,
Put in PPI complaints x 2 to Santander using Resolver about 6 weeks ago.
Still not had any response at all from Santander, not even an acknowledgement and you just cannot get through on the phone. Two further email addresses provided by Santander staff to chase things up have proved to be incorrect / invalid.
Has anyone else had this problem with Santander via Resolver?
Thanks.0 -
Hi, we're trying to initiate a claim using the Resolver facility. This seems to be refusing to accept our postcode - which we know very well.
We've tried CAPs, we've tried lowercase, we've tried deleting and retyping. Without that, the protocol will not process further our claim....
Our postcode is and always has been KORECTLY known. Any suggestions or workarounds?0 -
