If the letters are franked, seal them up and bob them back in the post box, they come back, they get charged each time another delivery fee.
Work out how many times you have to do it to "fine them" what they thought they could steal from you.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Courts do not look favourably upon companies that try to claim illegal penalty charges by trying to pass them off as contractual obligations.
That is why their threats to go there are simply hot air.
If it was a realistic option don't you think they would be doing it instead of talking about it?
Tell Claire Robinson where she can go. Or, more correctly, don't tell her, just ignore her.0 -
Anyway, we predicted you would get a letter from the totally ineffective Debt Recovery Plus. Take a look in the stickies at the top of the forum and see what will be the next literary masterpiece you can expect from them!0

Thanks for replies, much appreciated and reassuring for me. See what i get next!0

But we all know what you will get next as all the letters chains are shown in full under various PPC headings in the top thread. You should be just playing a nice game of snap with these predictable template letters by now!
A quick look found your letter under UKPC's letters:

and then this will be next:

...and you can look at the last one yourself - too many links isn't helpful to newbies as you do need to be able to navigate a forum & find the 'sticky' (permanent) info yourself! Sorry if it's obvious but you didn't seem to know which letters will come.
Just see my signature if unsure how to click back to see the top sticky thread at the top of the current forum thread index. You want 'PPC letters & threats' at the top of the forum index which is just one click away.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'd keep their poison pen letter for evidence in your harrassment case, and print their name & address on a sheet of paper so it shows through the envelope's window.
Revenge (unlike porridge) is a dish best eaten cold. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Yes, it is always worth keeping their threatening harass-o-grams. Evidence if you decide to turn the tables on the clowns.0

**UPDATE** AS predicted by your wonderfulselves i have now received a letter of 'intended litigation' from Debt Recovery Plus. Snap (lol). I was unable to find the original letter from legion on Money supermarket so was wondering if anyone could explain how i can scan and upload to help others??
Presuming im still ok to ignore the court threats?0 -
The only Court that Debt Recovery Plus have done is to get sued for harassment. See another thread.
So yes, you are perfectly OK to ignore yet another pathetic empty threat.0
