Ignore it then. It is nothing to do with the Council, obviously. If you do return to this car park, have a good look and tell us what is on the signs.0

That I think changes the whole deal, if it is council owned it's a different set of rules
No but Legion mention the Council because that's what they want victims to think. It's still a fake PCN.
And this bit is funnnnnny!!!:rotfl:
''However under the data protection act if a payment is received the charge notice recinded or once the case has been resolved through the courts your details will be removed immediately from our database."
Errrrr...right!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

They sound like masters of disinformation. Not only do they want to affect to some respect by being associated with the British Legion, but they also want to pretend that they have something to do with a Council. With lying like that, never mind the BPA, they should be members of the CIA!0

This bit made me snigger - "The court may also fine you."
How exactly and what for ?All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -

The only parties that have been "fined" by a Court have been the Parking Companies when Trading Standards occasionally get it together to do something about them.0
-
How can a company like legion group send out fines/invoices when they are in liquidation and the companies nett value is -£10,000,000!!!0
-
They are getting desperate!! But if you don't pay they will go under!!!!
Do we care?
Don't think so.0 -
Most likely it's net assets is minus 10 million as a tax-dodge to avoid paying tax & Vat on any parking fees people mistakingly pay them0

Hi all, following the letter from Leigion i have now received a letter from 'Debt Recovery Plus Ltd' saying that their client is Legion and that they are now acting on their behalf. The fine has now increased to £90. It says that payment is needed within 7 days of the letter, thst they are a member of the BPA and its approved operator scheme. It states that the BPA code of practice is that "courts do not look favourably on motorists or consumers who try to withold information" and "if they do not receive full payment or contact from you your payment, this matter will be passed to our solicitor to commence County Court Proceedings"
It is signed by a Claire Robinson, Collections manager.
My question - What do i do now?
Advice greatly appreciated.0
