I didnt read it that way at all. The way i read it is that people need to start taking responsibility for themselves where possible and stop passing the buck.
Personally I'm allergic to most metals. I sometimes have to wear glasses and I am limited to which type I can get because of my allergy to metals. I can't have any metal framed glasses that touch my face, otherwise the metal eats right through my skin and obviously, I start to bleed. Likewise when selecting rings/necklaces etc I have to be careful. Do you think its their job to list it as "suitable for people with allergies to xyz metals" or should I - knowing fine well I have the allergy - make sure the items I pick are suitable for me?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

I take that as a no then.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I was always under the impression that those with allergies or can only eat certain foods that they would check the ingredients or find out the ingredients. Is this not how its done these days ?0

I have problems with aspartame, so I avoid anything that says low sugar because if it has sweetners in, it's going to have aspartame in it no doubt!
If it's a cocktail/alcopop, I'd taken it as a given aspartame(or similar) will be in it, so I'd avoid. When your life is a mess, stop and think what you are doing before bringing more kids into it, it's not fair on them.

OP do you want an apology?
A different label put on the product?
Financial compensation? When your life is a mess, stop and think what you are doing before bringing more kids into it, it's not fair on them.

The woman in the sweet shop looked at me every so strangely when I asked if the Slush Puppies had aspartame in lol, bless her though she fetched the mix out of the back and checked it. It was aspartame free so i can finally get a slush puppy fix from her shop safely.
You'd be surprised though how many vendors shrug when asked about the ingredients of their products.0 -

I think they tend to lurk around the consumer rights board as they know they'll find people having problems. That's where the stupidity comes in; they can't post anything helpful so try to belittle and demean others to make themselves feel better.
and some just are smug but heck takes all kinds to make a world0 -

Is this aimed at me?
TBH, the only person demonstrating their 'ego' on this thread appears to be you. An 'ego' that says 'I can't possibly be wrong. Do not trouble me with responses unless you agree with me'.
Just once more because I think you're struggling to understand my point. If something makes you very ill, don't guess whether something contains it or not. Find out for sure. Before you drink it.
