Do you think she can claim compo seeing as she's clearly allergic to it?" people wouldn't take you all that seriously....
One bottle of wine wouldn't make you throw up all night!0 -
Thank you ThumbRemote
Really helpful, I will take it up with J. Sainsburys.
To all the people posting hangover jokes 'ha ha' I see where you're coming from, that was my first reaction too.
To all the aspartame fanboys who dispute its toxicity, there is extensive independent research to suggest it can be harmful to humans. Just google it (lol)
Alcohol is a poison and it is still sold - its your choice to buy it or not buy it - it has to be labelled!
Some people react to the fake sugar instantly whereas in others it takes years to have an effect. Nobody should be expected to consume it without prior warning.
In future we shall be more vigilant, but that wasn't the question I posed to begin with. Once more THANK YOU ThumbRemote0 -
glad to see my input wasnt required
I shall ignore any future threads from you0 -

Id buy her another bottle, let her drink it and see if she is ill again.
If she is tell her never to drink it again and if she isnt blame the takeaway.
This is the best advice on this thread

Use your common sense, you can get food poisoning from a million and one places, even touching the flush on the toilet to
opening the back door.
Be sensible and get off the comp wagon.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

I'm not disputing, if not toxicity, its revolting taste at the very least. I can't abide the stuff.
But again, if your GF is one of the people who believes that aspartame has a seriously unpleasant affect on her, then it's her responsibility to make sure she doesn't inadvertently consume it.
And drinking a sweetish cocktail mix when you don't know what's in it is asking for trouble, tbh."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
