We have found a few songs that are 'us' but some are just a little too fast for us... We dont't do dancing but would rather shuffle slowly than quick lol! At the moment we are looking at snow patrol, two or three of their songs... To be honest I love Chasing Cars and everytime I hear it I want to cry with how happy it makes me feel lol
Married my wonderful husband on 8/9/12 :j0 -
My DH picked 'You are so beautiful to me' by Joe Cocker for our first dance.
I still get all teary eyed when I hear it and it's our 10th wedding anniversary this year!0 -
We had Take That - Rule the World. It wasn't 'our' song (we didn't have one) but we both loved it.
Nearly two years later, I still cry (happy tears) if I hear it on the radio.

My OH booked us in a B&B for my birthday and proposed whilst walking. We were in the room later and had a msuic channel on, metallica's "nothing else matters" came on and I said "what about that?" and it kinda stuck. We had the band perform it, it was great :oD0

we really like the live version of amy winehouse singing will you still love me tomorrow. is that really bad? I know the lyrics aren't exactly appropriate, but we both love the song and as long as the answer to the lyrics is yes...

Of course it's your wedding and you should pick what you want.,..,,but that said, I think tou're right about the lyrics being a bit inappropriate! You might have a few stifled giggles around the room and is that really what you want?0 -
No wedding set yet but we have always known we would have 'Dabngerously in Love' by Destiny's Child followed by 'our song' which is 'My Love' by Justin Timberlake and then 'Let's Get Married' Remix version Jagged Edge & Run DMC.
I love Adele 'Make you feel my love' but it was my nans funeral song because it was so appropriate of her and my grandad loving each other so much to the end. I think it would upset too many people to use it.:jBaby Boy born December 2012

If I ever get married I would love to have All That You Are by the Goo Goo Dolls...just for the lyrics:
"I feel, oh the faint morning light, filled with hope cause you're here in my life"
and
"And know, that you are everything, let your heart sing and tonight we'll light up the stars, all that you are"
*sigh*

I originally wanted Iris but the New Found Glory version of the Goo Goo Dolls song but now i'm leaning more towards Never Gonna Be Alone by Nickelback the lyrics are beautiful! Plus the video is of a young girl being watched other by the ghost of her father and he is there on her wedding day to watch her.
I lost my dad at 5 so this video just makes me cry thinking about it and I can really relate to it. Plus my mum is a massive Nickelback fan and I have even made OH join the fan club twice so we could get pre-sale tickets :T
Oooh just thought wonder if I could combine the two some how..... Damn it more planning now! lolFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
Awww faith that Nickelback one's beautiful, I lost my dad a couple of years ago and the video is so lovely (in a way) its made me cry!
