            Ahem, anyway...
 We haven't got round to discussing table names yet, but I've thought of naming them after flowering plants (we both like flowers), and having a small pot of said plant as tablecentres. Will be much easier than previous ideas of antique books, ribbons and candles, and then trying to think of a name as well!
 The plants could go in the allotment afterwards, or be given as prizes to one lucky table member - piece of paper saying 'you won the pot plant!' hidden in the favours? hmmmm...... :think:   Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012 Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

 Plants are a good idea, my friends had them as centre pieces then gave them to people who had helped. Mine is still alive. Who knows how!May GC - £100 per week

            We are having cake names for our tables as OH and DD who is also chief bridesmaid love cake, we are also giving the favours as the cake that is named on the table - cheap and fun 0 0

            We had a Blackpool theme so had the following, we had facsimiles of old programmes for each venue as the "name" on the tables:
 Blackpool Tower
 The Winter Gardens
 North Pier
 Illuminations
 Pleasure Beach0

            My friend named her tables after different types of roses in her table decorations (Chesnut, Prairie, Mountain etc) and ran a little quiz for everyone before the starter to identify the link. It was a nice ice breaker to get chatting to people we hadn't met before on the table. 0 0
