weigh in tomorrow...not hopeful....I had a WHOLE bag of cashew nuts then read the fat content and nearly fainted!
Also been out for breakfast (but I don't eat meant so really not much of the fried stuff) Sunday lunch (I had quiche and salad) and a meal last week (also had salad) but still you never know the added fats when its not cooked yourself!
I need some inspiration for tea tonight but I think it will just be jacket potato!virtual sealed pot #167 = £32.56

I have nothing to report
Stayed pretty much the same which I suppose is better than nothing but its frustating when I`m trying so hard. Had grilled chicken breast and salad for tea tonight, I refuse to sacrifice dressing as I don`t particularly like the taste of leaves
:(
OH says I refuse to give up a lot of stuff :rotfl::rotfl: I might give him up :cool:0 -
Hi everyone!:)
Dragon, can I join (albeit a bit late!) again this month please?
I have been AWOL since the middle of Feb...it all went downhill on the diet front when my hubby dared to have a 40th birthday which seemed to turn into a week of celebrations, closely followed by my own birthday and lots of cake!
The result was that I didn't lose anything at all in February...gutted.
BUT...I got back on the wagon at the beginning of March and have since lost another 5lbs! :T
So, back to it now and enjoying seeing the pounds come off again. I still have a loooong way to go but am glad to be back on it now.
Keep going everyone...we WILL be svelte! :rotfl:

Haven't managed to weigh in yet this week. But I did start my C25K again today and have to say I found it easier than last time to do! No aching or anything whereas usually I would be complaining in the evening of being stiff and not able to stand up! ZOMG! Have you tried the new chocolate philly? It's divine! I have the fruity ryvitas and the 2 go perfectly together. It's on offer for £1 in Asda and has a decent shelf life on it. I'm so stocking up on this.0

67.7 kg today. That's + 0.5 kg since the first of the month.
Didn't get to aqua-aerobics Monday and Wednesday, other things going on. In addition, it became cold, windy, wet and miserable and all my new-found energy and optimism that came with the spring-like weather the previous week seems to have evaporated. Am worried about OH - going for appointment with spinal orthopaedic surgeon this afternoon after 2 MRI scans.
Apart from all that, I really do not know what else I can do to lose weight. Am still hovering round about 10 1/2 stones and size 14. If I watch any TV programme like last evening's 'Big Body Squad', 'Supersize vs Superskinny' and the like, I think "If these people ate normally they wouldn't have a problem". Like the young woman on S vs S the week before, who was in the habit of getting up at 2 am to make herself a fattening snack. She probably ate the same calories in that small-hours 'snack' as I do in a day. DH and I eat very healthily and I am coming to the conclusion that the equation 'calories in vs calories out' is misleading. There must be other biological factors at work than that.
This morning, for instance, we had mushrooms poached in a little rapeseed oil and balsamic vinegar, one egg scrambled and half a wholemeal roll left over from yesterday. I'm going to make carrot and lentil soup for lunch and we'll share an orange. DH's appointment is 2.45 pm so we'll have lunch about 1.30 - 2 pm. Quite early enough for us when we've had a good breakfast.
Yesterday I went along the row of yogurts for sale in Waitrose reading the sugar content with my reading-glasses on - print is too small to see. MullerLite and Perle de Lait (yoplait) get my vote. Most of the others have too much sugar.
