I have lost 0.25lb this week which means painfully and slowly I have lost 1 whole pound this month! If I carry on at this rate it will take me 28 weeks to loose 7lbs:rotfl::o

Life is still very very stressfull in my house( all outside factors which we have no control over) so I guess I should be grateful I am still loosing. Hopefully if the weather warms up a bit I might feel more like doing some exercise.
Well done everyone who is loosing. There was one really good moment this week when I was under 10 stone just before I went to bed as well as first thing in the morning;)
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D
  • Well done everyone for your loses :T

I managed 2.5lbs so far this month :D big big progress for me :rotfl: but yay its a start :p

I have an appointment with the nurse at 11am to be weighed as the scales at the surgery have been out of action for weeks now; however the receptionist kept mentioning a drs monitoring program but they have now changed it so people can only get weighed at 2 other surgeries.

I don't drive and would cost £6 a time in bus fares so won't be bothering with that and will be buying my own scales which will work out cheaper in the long run.

Not sure I will have lost any this month at all, I have lost motivation which I think is due to being unable to weigh myself to see any progress.

After a disastrous weekend (depressed and ate junk rather than healthy food) I am unsurprisingly back over 300 pounds (namely three pounds ON this week!:eek:), still I am going to get myself back on track and I WILL lose this weight!

So my plans are to have a sandwich for breakfast (OH leaves this for me and it is easier to eat it first off:p), fruit for lunch and then veggie stir fry/chilli for evening meals. The exception to this will be Friday when I am meeting a friend for lunch :o so I think that could be either a cheese jacket potato or a cheese and tomato sandwich, which ever I chose would be served with lots of salad (so that is good!)

    4lb loss :)

The nurse confirmed that I was doing well on my own and I was surprised she was happy with my 1500cal limit a day as that is the one the nurses suggest as 1200 is too little and she is confirmed my targets are good as gives me more chance of keeping the weight off.

She even said a day off is a good thing as it allows me to relax from cal counting and helps prevent cravings.

I was going to try the C25K but believe me I CANNOT run...I am really really bad so this would be a huge challenge...do you reckon its too much for the worst runner in the world?

    C x
I was thinking about doing the C25K (couch to 5k) challenge...because I can spare 20 mins in a morning to run up and down the street but I am apprehensive because I think I would collapse.

You may have already given it a try, but if not, go for it! What's the worst that can happen? I did my first C25K run today, OH laughed at me when I asked him to stick the podcasts on his iPod for me because, as he said, "you can't even run 30 seconds, let alone 5k!". Well, I've proved him wrong so far, managed 20 minutes of brisk walking with 60-second spurts of running today. I had to admit defeat and pass over the last two spurts but I didn't give up completely, I kept up the brisk walking instead. Hopefully on the next run I'll manage the whole thing - I think today's mistake was taking the dog with me and every time I went for my 'paced run', she decided to sprint and drag me at a much faster pace!

I feel as though the exercise is making me worse! Was coughing and wheezing so much in the gym last night, everyone was looking at me!
