  • I haven't had an email for about a month I think it is. I logged in yesterday and there were two. One was about the popularity of Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats, as well as the usual who would you vote for which was fifty points and 15 mins, I can't remember what the second one was for but that was 75 points and even shorter than the first.:)

Redeemed 5000 points on 23 Aug and the £50 arrived in my account today. So that's three weeks (very similar timescale to verybigchris by the sounds of it)

I requested my payment on Friday 31st August, and I'm still waiting with fingers crossed.
:A A million thanks to everyone who posts :A
  • I emailed YouGov telling me about people being booted from the system and not getting their £50.

Got this reply 10 minutes ago

"Emily, Sep 27 07:12 am (PDT):
I am not aware of anyone finding their account closed when they try to redeem their points. We make hundreds of payments each month to panellists who achieve their 5000 point goal. Anyone experiencing such difficulty should contact us direct so that we can assist them; there is little to be gained by discussing it with other people and not letting us deal with the matter. There is not a website glitch affecting redemptions."

Thought I should post this as it might be helpful???

  • I have answered their surveys for over 5 years and 7 weeks ago I put in for my reward. They say it can be up to 4 weeks, like I said before; it's been 7 weeks and still no reward or any response to my emails asking about it. I am sure they are getting paid for our information that they are selling to companies or they would not be doing this. It looks like there has to be a big number of people complaining before YouGov decides to send the rewards out. I have a feeling I will never see my reward.
  • I have just claimed my £50 from YouGov. I'll try to remember to post again if/when it arrives in my account.

I won one of the prize draws about 1 1/2 years ago. I picked an ipod dock thing for my son. It came pretty quickly and we were all delighted with it.
Last month (18th Sept) I too reached my 5000/£50 mark and I requested it. As yet I have not received it. Here's hoping it comes before Christmas.
    I live in hope.

Sorry, but I still can't believe they give out all those prize draw prizes. I have entered 100 points every month for a while and never heard anything. I have over 1000 points now and I am 100% sure if I submit all of them for the next draw I still won't win anything.

It's not because I am unlucky, it's because the draw doesn't exist the way they say it does. They don't give all those prizes, maybe just one per month and that's it. The rest is a scam.
  • I too have been waiting over a month for payment... Nothing. I emailed them and have yet to receive a reply.

I really don't trust them anymore and will close e account once I get the £50. I doubt they give out those prizes too. It's a total con. Who checks they give out prizes??

I've just emailed them as I requested payment on 6th November via BACS and I still haven't been paid. It takes long enough to get there and we do want to be rewarded at the end of it.
    Don't mess with pensioners.
  • An update for those who haven't been paid. I received the following email this morning.
We advise at the point of redemption that the transfer will take place within four weeks. You should normally receive your reward within that timescale however payments are taking an additional 10/14 days to process due to a backlog in the Finance Department. I apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
