Took me 9 years to get £50! Immediately I did, I cashed it in and stopped answering surveys as I'm a pensioner and won't wait another 9 years to get paid. I was told that I wasn't getting many surveys because I didn't complete the free surveys. Told them that as a commercial organisation they'd understand why I only worked for money. Anyway, asked for my money on 29th July and still waiting. No reply to my email to them yesterday but then it's early days yet. When I get paid I'll be cancelling.

YouGov have got to be the worst company in the UK. By any standards they are a poor service and I am amazed how they keep getting away with ignoring their clients and providing such !!!! poor service. This is the UK for god's sake, not some 3rd world country.

I am always amazed by people here, I get cashout approx every 7-8 months and they always pay me promptly and on time :( Perhaps they have different people dealing with different months or something?!

  • I joined in October 2010, claimed first payout 13 July and £50 duly paid into my bank this Monday which allowing for weekend is within the month they specify. No complaints here, and I find their surveys more varied and interesting than some. I'll plod along for next two years or so!

I finally reached 5000 points after 3 years and was paid two weeks later.

But I have decided I am not going to hang around waiting for £50 in another 3 years. I do the odd survey and redeem my points for prize draw. Now I am almost certain the prize draw is a hoax. I have emailed asking them when and where the prize draw is made but have never heard back.

Overall YouGov are an extremely poorly run company to the point that I consider them a scam. How they manage to get away with this kind of practice is beyond me.

I won the prize draw a couple of months ago - so its not 'fixed' however I opted for the hotel prize which allows me to stay free in any hotel in the UK and Ireland but have to have breakfast and dinner at the hotel throughout my stay - don't want the voucher now - but if anyone else wants it I would be more than happy to pass it on!
