I have only just done my last working out for March - declaring at £30.93 spent! I was away twice in the month - was fed by friend and family. Mr F and dog were at home - doesn't look like they ate - two freezers still heaving + supplies in garage and under stairs cupboard look practically untouched.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Well I've given up on March. Way over. No idea what happened. Maybe it's cos I wasn't on here daily as I have been since new year? I honestly don't think I've been extravagant, and the cupboards/freezer certainly aren't overflowing, although there are lots of things I'm well stocked up on, but I don't know where it's all gone. It's so bad I'm not even adding it up. Maybe Jan and Feb were deceptive because we were reducing the cupboard stockpiles, which we have now done for lots of stuff, so it really bit in March.
April is another month - shorter, especially as we'll be away for one week, and am going to pop up on here again more regularly!
Good luck all for April!0 -
Thank you everyone for the good wishes... I'll see you all on the 9th April when I'm back!!!
Lots of love

Hi everyone, been awol this month, hope everyone is ok. I am not declaring this month (boo hoo). Don't think it was too bad, but really do not know, lost the plot somewhat. The yearly budget will not be a true figure so can i go back onto monthly and £130 for April please Helen, as its Easter and I have guests. Sorry for messing you around, will maybe give myself a half year budget in June, as i like the idea. Promise to myself to KEEP TRACK. Have a good April everyone.
Oh yeah, did anyone see food inspectors where they said NEVER to wash your chicken, as it is one of the top ways of spreading bacteria - can't say i like the thought of that.0 -
Hey all,
I just thoguht I'd give you a last update for this month. You have all been doing so well wioth your budgets, brilliant! :T
I've updated the sig but there will be a very small spend to add later as OH needs to get some bits for GD1 who's staying tonight. I don't think I'll sort out the spreadsheet again later though. So we should be under budget for the month.
I have moved an expenditure this month over to April as OH couldn't resist the leg of lamb and beef on offer in the Coop but they're both in the freezer for when we get back from hols so it makes sense to move it.
We're flying off to Spain for a week early on Sunday morning and I'm now getting stressed as hell about it! I have so many lists you wouldn't believe!!!!
I have to run as got to take GD1 to a party shortly and must get the washing on the line too and get to the pharmacy for bits and bobs and ... and breathe!
Hugs to everyone that needs them. I'll see you all on the April thread after the 8th.
Have a great Easter everyone.
Take care,

Just tomorrow left - too bad it's an SM day lol. Have ordered my Le Creuset
which takes my spend this month so far to £492.63 (£158 on LC). IIt will be really nice to see my GC being slowly converted to lovely things for the house. So far 3 Le Creuset pots, 2 mattress covers and a very snazzy toaster. So much more satisfying than just getting them on CC. Anything left tomorrow after SM goes into xmas fund. Far exceeded my target NSDs. Going for £600 next month as will have 4 (and sometimes 5) adults plus DS and cats in house for 2 of the 4 weeks. And of course my 1st OS Easter.
