So, our March 15-April 13 budget has finally run out. We had a £225 budget, but £25 was owed to last month, so were actually really working with a £200 budget, for 2 adults, and 1 nearly 5 year old. We only have Lidl, Tesco, and Coop (4 of them but they are not very big), and local shops (live on an island!). Happy with that, and think we will manage the last few days to pay day (13th, but shop possibly a day or so later depending on how I feel/time) with what we have in, as have a rough meal plan. Will join you all on April thread once we are paid :).

  • :o I realise I'm VERY late declaring my March budget at £139.14 of £125 budget. Over again - for April I upped it to £30 p/w plus have given up alcohol, so that's saved me a couple of bob I reckon. Off to the April Thread now!

  • Better late than never! We ended up going over budget in March with a total spend of £312.67 (budget £250). It didn't really bother me at the time as we'd stocked up on quite a few things for April.
