Declaring at €164.13 for March...will not be spending to-morrow as am off to Bristol to meet some lovely MSErs!

Declaring at £61.43 for March  That included spending around £15 on ice creams - it was my birthday on Wednesday, so we had a BBQ and I didn't have to buy in anything at all (bar the ice creams
). The freezer is more or less empty now though - I have no chicken breast, which is completely not like me! I have some pork fillet, a whole chicken, some cooked chicken and 5 packs of mince. Not forgetting the remains of butter mountain
I'll be trying to finish up the rest of what I've got there, but fully expect I'll be spending quite a few pounds in April to restock up a bit!
I will continue to buy cheap, reduced veg to chop up and freeze in bags to add in to mince for different dishes. I was quite skeptical about the courgettes, I thought they would completely go to mush but they were fine!
That's £295.72 for the year so far.0 -
I am declaring for March....
:j:D:rotfl::T
How proud am i!! For the FIRST time i have managed to come in at not only ON target, but actually UNDER!
I went over the £60 1 week, but have been under £60 for 2 weeks, which means that it all evens out and i have come in under target!
YAY!!!
Am off to sub to the April challenge now!0 -
Well done cleggie! :T
After doing so well I've fallen at the last hurdle.
I got persuaded to get Fish and chips last night because I had some drinks to celebrate the last bit of sun and I'm feeling a bit 'urrrgh' today. £5.30 to report to damage
Which also brings me to realizing I forgot to add the cost of lunch last week for a colleagues birthday lunch (arranged last minute on the day when I had already brought lunch in! It got used at home for lunch the next day though) - £8.20.
I'm including both in grocery spends rather than entertainment because on both occasions I had food in.
Brings me over budget now!Grocery Challenge Jan 24 0/300

I am declaring £247.59 this month so that is £12.41 under my budget :j
I am really pleased with this as it did also include a takeaway which we don't normally have but we were celebrating as I start a new job on 10 April
Hope everyone is under budget this month and look forward to seeing you all on the April challenge.
TraceyOfficially debt free :j0 -
Just updating last of my spends for the month - went to get some compost and seeds from Lid!, so another £2.86 spent. Sig has been updated and naughty, naughty over by £13.04. But heigh ho I will get this under control, see you over in the April challenge.
Well done to everyone who came evens or under, :grouphug: to all those like me who will be trying harder next time.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Sept Grocery spends = £304.88
Oct - Grocery spends = £ 16.590 -
Declaring the month and money well and truly over(drawn!)
I think I'll stay at £200 for April (thank you Helen) but I'm not optimistic as I did a cash n carry shop yesterday and more than half Aprils budget has gone already. Having said that, I have enough meat, bread flour, loo roll, dried goods, dog food, toiletries, washing powder, biscuits and cakes to last the month at least... (storage space is now very tight!!:o) all I will need are fresh fruit and veg and milk and butter:D.... so i will set myself a challenge of 20 NSDs.
Well done to all of you coming in under budget for March:T:TDFWNerd 1417
