    Hi all

I've not been posting much, I'm trying to follow a few threads for various things and only tend to have enough time to lurk! still trying to follow concepts of the threads!

This month hasn't been too bad, just about to update my thread, stocked up on things with coupons, especially cleaning products and toothpaste and with the coupons I was getting it for free.

Nice to see everyone's doing well

    Hi all

just to officially declare my March result - no more spends since milk, and won't be any today, so:
    Mar GC: £76.12/£70

Thank you Suffolk lass and LavenderBees for the advice on the onions - I'll chop them and freeze when I'm doing my final dregs of salad later!

Thank you as well for all the good wishes for holiday, I can't believe I go tomorrow, it's been about 7 years since I've been on holiday, I'm so excited and then culminating in my friends' wedding as well, it's just brill! Spending today packing though as I've been terribly unorganised!

I hope you have a fantastic time xxxxx

    Hi All

I'm still on March's budget because I run payday - payday and I get paid on Monday :(

Another £1.29 on some wraps from Mr S today. Having chicken marinated in za'atar with salad and wraps (in in stock apart from wraps bought today) for dinner.

Hope everybody is enjoying the sun - bit of a bummer that it will go downhill on the weekend!!!

Ok I spent today after all, needed salad. But I used a sainsbury's pricematch voucher so it only cost me 8p!

  • Suffolklass and tigerfeet. My machine is only a relatively cheap one which I found on appliancesonline. Hotpoint wmal 641 in granite. I got it for just £255 inc delivery which was free!:D I have banned the powder from the machine for the reasons you state-indeed correct which is why I will only use powder maybe once a fortnight and throw it straight in the drum! I don't want it gunking up the whole machine so with the half quantity of liquid or soapnuts I think I will be safe. A few washes on 60 degrees will also sort out any issues I need to clean my machine so I hope I've got it sorted! ;)However-I appreciate we all have varying needs re washing and what I do may well not suit others at all. All of us are adults in this house so have no needs to consider washing any "special soiling" from clothes lets say. Our friend is happy with my old one too-almosst the same machine. They always put so many programmes on them and I seem to pick out just 2 washes for nearly everything!
New Lidl opening today in my area so I am off to explore late-needless to say-with my list! Went to Primark yesterday with DD and got another two pairs of "ugly" boots at £3 per pair so oops Ive now got 3 pairs for the winter!:money: Knitted a pair of socks last week and started the next pair-made the pattern myself so was pleased they turned into real socks as this was new to me. Just coloured my hair with my £1 hair dye from the pound shop-its nicer than the prices ones, doesnt itch and less staining-oh-it does a good job on very grey hair too!
I found that leaving the fruit soaking for 2 days in tea in the fridge gives me a very lovely nice moist teabread! Only done accidently though laziness I have to admit though.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults

Well I spoke too soon, we need squash and I have some coupons for various things to use and will be going near a Tesco tonight... so there will be more spending, however with the coupons and a few clubcard vouchers I can do it for free!
