Just had a moment of :eek::eek: when I realized that, actually, this is sort of my life now! Im certainly not wealthy, we rent so dont "have" a house I suppose and we have 2 dogs which is probably less ambitious than your plan. But yes, if you'd like some outdoor space, a lovely climate year round and affordable house help I can recommend a life in Uganda :rotfl:

Personally I don't really "want" a lot anyway. I would be happy to be able to get a private pilot's license and perhaps buy myself a decent car (nothing mental though, just a new one). Housing is a given really, you need somewhere to live, might as well pay off the mortgage. My initial spends would come in at less than £50k I reckon disregarding housing.

£130million would be a great amount to invest with. Lots of frictional costs would disappear/become irrelevant.

I think that is a bit daft. Being an employee at the end of the day, simply means doing stuff that your employer doesn't want to / doesn't have the time to do.

I would be proud to pay a housekeeper, chauffeur, whatever. You're providing a job to someone and redistributing the wealth in ways that are much better than splashing it on luxuries and simply making the rich richer.

I was actually thinking I would make it my own special place, my kids are only 5 and 9 months so cant quite kick them out yet haha - that sounds terrible lol, I love them really just forget what peace and quiet sounds like xx
