Hi K_P83,
The two threads here on Consumer Rights are now merged together.
Please read the following quote from our Forum Rules...Forum_Team wrote:What's spam?
Forum users mustn't post the same forum post more than once on the forum (the only exception is members of the MSE Team; when needed). It's called spamming and most internet forums forbid it. Where spam is reported to the Forum Team posts are deleted and the user's Posting Privileges may be removed. Please don't quote any post that you believe is spam, as this causes the team more work.
Several boards on our forum have a spam button. If enough forum users click the spam button on a thread, that thread will automatically be deleted. The Forum Team may choose to leave it deleted or re-instate it.

Thanks squeaky.
This is just one (an update) to those who recoil in horror when you don't automatically put all your trust in a company/person (because the world is such a trusting, wonderful, friendly place isn't it(!))...
Email from this SUNDARI seller today, asking to re-check the sort code & account number for the postage refund as they will put it through today. No mention of returning the SIM tray key though - ignored once again on that point.
Now it's very very VERY fishy to me, that they've been asked, more than once, in fact more than twice, about the refund of the return postage. They've never directly answered it & only implied that they would refund. A few questions were put to them in 1 email, one of them being about the refund. Their reply was just "yes". Yes what..?!
So what is fishy to me, is that as soon as "law" is mentioned, "rights" are mentioned and "taking this further" is mentioned, the seller all of a sudden wants to start answering questions & issuing refunds. Yes, what about last week? Why couldn't it be done then?!
So i'm sorry, but i will continue to NOT automatically trust every person on this planet. I know that will likely make some members here have a heart attack, but there's nothing i can do about that. People who automatically put all trust in anyone they come across are leaving themselves wide open.0 -
K_P83, I am sorry but I don't understand the message you are trying to get across in your latest post.
(And before you become abusive, please re-read your signature).
You are the only person in this thread to have used the word 'trust'.
No-one has said you should 'automatically trust everyone'.
You have asked the seller several questions and apparently not got the answers you want.
You then come on here and bleat about it.
Why are you not getting back to the seller saying something like "when I asked about a refund, you replied 'yes'. What do you mean?".
Why are you not continuing to ask about the return of the sim tray key?
How does whining on here about it help resolve the issue?
How do you think people on here can assist with that?
Squeaky, here are some more threads on Consumer Rights on the same subject that could perhaps be merged...

K_P83, I am sorry but I don't understand the message you are trying to get across in your latest post.
For example, you're interested in a guy/girl & they tell you they like you. Do these MSEers i'm referring to then sit the person down & interrogate them? Like? What do you mean like? Like is a sliding scale, i want specifics damnit. Do you really like? Do you like 8 out of 10?
Some people hang too much on specifics, but we can do that if you wish...(And before you become abusiveYou are the only person in this thread to have used the word 'trust'.
No-one has said you should 'automatically trust everyone'.
Yes i've used the word trust & nobody else has. Fantastic.
But when i say my sister doesn't want to keep sending this back & forth after the first time developed MORE problems, the reply is "how do you know the next time will".
It's tiring (to which you come back with "well your questions are tiring", yes what a reply, well done).
Nobody has a crystal ball. No, nobody knows if there will be yet more problems, but there is no faith in the seller. It's supposedly been repaired once only for it to come back with other problems. What if it keeps getting sent back & forth ... & that isn't something that is wanted. I don't trust the seller to repair it properly & neither does my sister.
I find such is the way of internet forums, unfortunately (to which the knee jerk response is "dont come on them then", yes, what a reply).
I can say these things to people in person & people understand. You don't need to draw a map for them to understand, they just understand.
Come on the internet & that all changes. You get groups that want you to draw them a map & try & cause a drama when there isn't one (the tax forum & employment forum seem to be terrible for this). You have asked the seller several questions and apparently not got the answers you want. You then come on here and bleat about it.
Which, may i remind you, nobody forced you to reply toWhy are you not getting back to the seller saying something like "when I asked about a refund, you replied 'yes'. What do you mean?".
So i have asked. Why are you not continuing to ask about the return of the sim tray key?How does whining on here about it help resolve the issue?
This all depends on whether those replying want to be helpful or difficult. Thankfully, amongst the difficult members of the board, we do have helpful people. Hence why i still ask questions here. How do you think people on here can assist with that?
From personal experience would be one way.Squeaky, here are some more threads on Consumer Rights on the same subject that could perhaps be merged...

If you don't like it, simply don't reply to it. Nobody is forcing you.0 -
Well that should stop most people from even thinking about trying to help you.
Good bye.0 -
just to note,
i got 32gb 3GS
wifey has the 16GB 3GS, had them since May 2010..
I jailbroke both when we got them, she on Orange, me on o2....
Had to upgrade to IOS4 last year sometime, so re-did the jailbreak (get a skull when booting up now!) and all is OK...
However, wifey doesnt want IOS4 and wants the phone left as it is.... she on Orange (or Orange T-mobile as its called), she has issues all the time with the phone constantly saying 'network lost' and picks up 1 bar, full bar then network lost, etc.. several times on a new call, she cant hear other side, so have to make new call, etc....
No idea what issue is, could be software related though ?0 -
OK, all the associated threads have now been merged.
K_P83 - there's no need to start a new thread at every stage of the proceedings, it makes it difficult for readers to follow the series of events.
IF you feel that the thread title is no longer relevant you can "Go Advanced" when in Edit mode and change the title there.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. The problem with all your posts is that you're asking questions that no-one here can answer.
Either Amazon, Apple or the seller can help you. You've tried the seller and Amazon, your best option, and this is just my opinion, is Apple. They'll tell you whether there is anything wrong with the phone, which is something that hasn't been established yet has it ? If you have no faith in the seller, YOU have to make a decision, to allow them another chance to repair the phone or not.
If it were me, i would have been to the Apple shop and back by now. I really can't understand why your sister hasn't done this ? Debating on a forum gets you nowhere. You've said neither your sister nor yourself trust the seller anymore, i think there's your answer.
As for the SIM tray key, let it go.0 -
Stuie - 3 of us here have the exact same phone running the exact same software on the exact same network. 2 run this fine, 1 doesn't. 2 bought from the o2 store, 1 didn't.
This aside, Amazon have instructed to go ahead with a claim, which i think is what will happen. Just need to see if seller has refunded postage as "promised".
Squeaky - i got that with your last post. I don't need reminding every time wealdroam chips in with his/her report on me.
meer - you wouldn't have been to apples shop & back by now because my sister is in college. She only had the weekend & the first port of call would be the refund process rather than the paying out of your own pocket to repair process. So she can't go weekdays, only weekends.
Somewhere in this i asked about the Amazon procedure. I've never experienced it & i'm quite sure SOME on here have. So some questions people CAN actually answer.
As for the SIM tray key, i'm surprised at you. Let's forget that it can be picked up on eBay cheaply, why on earth should it be let go? It was returned with the phone & never returned back. My sister paid for this, so why should she just give up?
If you take your car to a mechanic to get repaired & then he decides to not give you it back, what would you say if someone told you to let it go? The price and item is totally irrelevant. What is relevant is that something has been taken that isn't theirs.0 -

They've already decided not to go to Apple. rod....back etcOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0
