So what would be the difference between my Panasonic Viera 23" at £500 than this one:-

I just bought myself an LG 32LT75 http://uk.lge.com/products/model/detail/lcdtv_32lt75.jhtml

It has an integrated hard disk recorder and two in built freeview tuners so you can record TV and watch another channel at the same time. You can also pause and rewind live TV. Basically like having skyplus.

Its a great TV, really smart and a great picture.

I got it from Dixons and with a combination of on-line discount codes, Quidco and Egg cashback I got the TV for £476 delivered. I am more than happy!
  • I'm looking for a decent 32" lcd for my nan, and it MUST NOT BE BLACK (her words not mine!) I've seen this on play and elsewhere... any thoughts or other suggestions?

edit: I realise this isn't a bargain as such, just trying to get opinions on a subject I don;t know much about.

Re Quidco & Egg - Are you sure you've got both ?

Or is the EGG you are referring to, just the standard annual 1% cashback for paying with their Credit card, and not an extra special offering of 5% or similar ?

Only in the latter case other people have tried in the past to get both and failed, since to get Quidco you get to Dixons via a Quidco.com referal, and to get a "special" Egg discount (like the combined 8% offer they did on Dec 15 & 16) you get to Dixons via a special Egg link.
Unless you've found a loophole you can't do both.

Not sure if this will help anyone... but Argos - Angel Street in Sheffield have a 37" Acoustic Solutions HDLCD for £319... just the one for clearance.
