Thanks Monkeyspanner for sharing your thoughts.
I up'd my budget a little and went for the Toshiba 42X3030D from Currys while their discount codes were valid. Paid around £750 in the end but happy with the result.
It's strange to see the Quintrix died around the same time. I had mind since 1999 so 8/9 years of service but suddently just decided to not switch on (or switch off straight away). Heavy usage and moved it for 3-4 times too.0 -

That's sounds like a good deal shykins - I want the 32" and I'm just waiting for a good price then I will be doing the same with JLP as I want a 5 year guarantee too!
I'm sorely tempted by a 37" now you've said it but I've only got a little house so I'm going to try to resist!0 -

I was planning on jacking in my LCD in favour of Samsung's WS-32Z419. Seen one of these in action and it really does have a fantastic picture via HDMI with no lag or pixelation! :eek:So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable Christopher Reeve (1953-2004)0
