Has anyone seen any good deals for 32" Samsung LCDs? Preferably a JL price match but if it saves me money I'll look elsewhere.0

Be careful, I can't remember the details (deflection, convergence, geometry come to mind) but I've seen lots of problems reported with this model. It is rumoured that Samsung are bringing out a new Slimfit with problems resolved, but there's no info on if/when it will be on the UK market. The following is a link to Search results on the AV Forums CRT forum:I was planning on jacking in my LCD in favour of Samsung's WS-32Z419. Seen one of these in action and it really does have a fantastic picture via HDMI with no lag or pixelation!

Samsung may have been over ambitious in developing the short-trunk (SlimFit) CRT TV. Its earlier outings certainly didn't meet with universal acclaim so veronarona's counsel of caution is fully justified.
Anyway: going after the model you're talking about now may be particularly ill-advised seeing as how Samsung appears to be saying that it has more or less revised, re-designed and generally re-engineered this model line-up. As I understood it, Samsung was planning the UK launch of its new "slim" CRT range some time next month. Have a read through this thread:

I am looking for a new LCD HD TV.
It must be 20'' or bigger, preferably 22'' or 23'' (19'' and v good price could tempt me!). Must be HD and be made by a decent company!
Finally cost Must be under £250 and sold by a reliable company, a free warranty wouldn't go amiss as well

The best I can find is -

I was just looking myself for a cheap tv and went to Richer sounds. For a bit more than £250 it looks like you can get a decent 23" set. I'm no expert but Philips are a decent brand?
