Have no experience of it, but people have given it a good review at Amazon, and it's £749.99 at Amazon delivered! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-37X3030-Widescreen-1080P-Freeview/dp/customer-reviews/B000P46N1G
I can't believe an 1080P is this cheap and it's a brand name.0 -

I bought the Hitachi LS26A01 for £299.95 from Richer Sounds yesterday. I got the five year warrant for £30. It is the same TV as the LS26H01 minus the freeview tuner which was selling for £399. Is the in-built tuner worth £100? For that price difference you can get a freeview PVR which I already have! No one else in the UK is selling the LS26A01 as it was meant for the European market, which why it is missing the in-built tuner.
There are plenty of input connections for a 26 inch TV.
2 HDMI
Component
3 Scarts (2 RGB)
SVideo
Composite
I understand the it may not be a good as a Sony or Toshiba, but for a bedroom TV for £300 is not bad. There are not many 26" TVs with 2 HDMI connections at that price!0 -
Pleased as punch with my purchase of this little beauty!!!
Have wanted a flat screen telly for ages, but decided to wait
for the prices to become a little more realistic. Absolute breeze
to set up, just came online to get my Sky remote code, it's
0145 btw.
Richer Sounds in Hanley were nice straightforward people to
do with, asked if I wanted the 5 year warranty, but didn't take
offence when I turned it down. But for £30 may'be it's not such a
bad buy too, they still give you a month to decide if you do want it.
Get's my vote.
Cheers

Hello!
Sorry to bother you guys but I am lost with all the choices so hope some of you more up-to-date with techs can give me some suggestions.
My good ole Panasonic 29" bulky (weighs a ton I am sure) TV just died so am in need of a new telly. I have read through this thread and found some of the offers tempting. However, all the ratios and resolutions response time throw me a bit....
Basically, I am looking for a 37"-42" LCD but understand size doesn't always mean everything. I would rather have a very nice spec on a 37" than a lower/older spec 40". 42" is just greedy on my part but hey, worth a try!
Whilst browsing one of the sites, I have found the HANNspree XV 37" JT02-E2. The spec, as far as I udnerstand (by comparing the number, lol), is very good with 1200:1 ratio and 8ms response time. Res is good too. Priced at 465 inc del and 2-yr warranty.
I also like some of the Samsungs too but they have sooooo many models, even for each size and I can't make out which one is better for the price.
The Tosh Regza (?) sounds really high-spec but so is the price....
Ideally, I would like to keep this between 450 to 600 depending on the spec/size.
See, I am even lost with just a few options that I've found! Please please please advise....:T0
