I just bought the Hanspree 32" from ebuyer (on the great advice received on this forum - thanks everyone!)
Really delighted with it for the money it was £299.99...wow!
One slight prob I am finding is a slight audio dropout on the digital scart (freeview), so far have not exerienced the problem on the other tv / dvd options....so I am working on eliminating the possibilities....has anyone else experienced this?
Anyway....a great TV for the money and has a nice range of controls etc....looks nice too!
How is the picture on freeview through this TV? Is it good?
How do fast moving scenes look such as action movies or football - do you get much blurring?
The reason I ask is that most reviews talk about HD and gaming consoles 0- whereas I would mostly use my freeview PVRCheers,

Hi Scoobies,
same as use I just really use my freeview box and the picture is great, however I suppose it also depends on how strong your signal is too!?!?
I found the picture to be very good. There is sometimes a very little shadowing but not very often and certainly does not distract in anyway (but sorry I'm not a footie watcher so not up on that to comment I'm afraid!). Having looked round the shops at other LCD's I feel at the Hanspree is much better than many models I looked at, and way cheaper!
It has nice easy controls to adjust colour / contrast etc to your liking. You will need to do this as the preset is a bit hairy and 70's orange!! It also has a colour temp control which is nice, which I believe many other TV's don't have.
My sister has also bought one and is delighted with it.
I always think a TV is quite a personla thing, but everyone that has seem my TV was very impressed and I certainly am delighted with it and don't regret my purchase.
I could never have justified £5-600 but for £300 this TV I feel is a winner!
Good luck!Many a Mickle makes a Muckle!0 -

Costco are doing the Samsung LE40M87 (think that was the model) for less than £1000. (970 ish). I’m sick as I just bought this from comet for £1099 and I had been to Costco day before but the TV was on the specials just when you enter the store and I didn’t look behind me as I did tonight. Doh!
Oh yes and you get 3 year warranty!!! Doh! Doh!

I bought the Panasonic LXD70 32" from Richer sounds and I paid £614 for it which is £36 less than they buy it in for as they have a pricematching policy. It retails in normal electrical stores for £899 so I think I got a bargain. Oh and I got a tv stand in oak from M & S clearance (brand new boxed) for £80 so all in all a good buy.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Can anyone compare value on the 32" Hanspree for £299 or the Toshiba at £440?
Both deals are detailed on the previous page.
Don't really know anything so any thoughts appreciated.

Top notch TV. I got one of these and the picture is amazing on Freeview and standard SKY as it has 100HZ. The cheapest is £592 delivered.
