    Hi guys,

    http://www.ajelectronics.co.uk/ViewProdDetails.asp?prod_code=42LC2D&A=Success#cross

Does anyone own this TV or no anyone whom has had experience with it? I thought at £688.95 it was a very good offer? Would there be any chance of a high street store such as Currys price matching this? Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks:T

just purchased the sammy ps42q96hd plasma from currys for a bargain £659. instore at currys its £949 but currys online its £719 and use the current AW60AUG code u get £60 off , making it £659. also buy it via quidco and u get another £23 in your quidco account for doing nothing .
this tv is absolutely awesome wen u see it in the flesh and at less than £659 and free delivery it was a no brainer 4 me .
the icing on the cake is that in the AV forums , it gets excellent reviews too !
  • This TV is pound for pound one of the best on the market. 32" 4000:1 contrast rating anyway click on the link and you will see.

I bought it 6 months ago for £700. Pixmania are offering it for £440.05 + del.

You could buy a TV with some name that you have never heard of or take this Toshiba for around the same price.

    Guys,

    Maybe not the cheepest.

You can get the Panasonic TH42PX70PED 42" plasma with pedestal for £799 which also includes a free 5 year guarantee until the end of July.

This is a frequent award winner.

Details of the guarantee can be found here....

The Tosh rules supreme -- it was a superb buy at the £700 you paid six months ago, but at £440 now it's an absolute steal. . .

Though these price drops are not doing the LCD TV market any favours at all: you're down £260 in just six months -- it's not that many years ago that a decent CRT cost £260 and lasted at least six years.

Amazingly, it doesn't discuss the benefits of plugging in a computer which can output 1920 x 1080 resolution (many can). The clarity on one-one pixel mapping is totally different, and if you need this would be a major bonus, especially now the costs for 1080P are dropping fast.

Looks great - have been looking at a Goodmans 32" with freeview this afternoon which has been reduced to £399.99 in Comet. If the reviews of your pruduct are anything to go by, will be buying this later.

Will be interested in anyone else's opinions.
