    Hi guys

    Lovely day again today!

Predicted a spendy day yesterday and I was right - don't even want to think about how much I spent overall (groceries, petrol, clothes, toiletries, presents etc etc)

But my total from this pot was £48.05 which means I'm over again. To be fair, £8.50 of that was on sun cream for South Africa (29 days to go!), which I got on BOGOF and me and my friend are having one each, as it should have been £17. Also four quid on a very expensive smoothie... but OH MY GOODNESS it was DELICIOUS!!! And it was my breakfast and lunch so better than buying rubbishy food to eat (I forgot to eat before I went out, got to the mall and was STARVING!).

So I'm red yet again. Off to my friends house for a few hours this afternoon then a quiet evening at home. Well, they all are really!

Oh and I've spoken to the Dr this morning and I'm going back to work on Wednesday on half days and we'll review it after a week. I feel happier now the end is in sight! I'm getting really lazy just sitting at home all day. I won't lie, I needed the time off, but I do need to get back to work.

    Evening all

Spent £6.98 yesterday on cinema ticket, cheap popcorn and bottle of water that i took with me. Not paying those over inflated prices anymore. :D

Potted a £1 in my sealed pot, so currently have £4.02 left, need to pay car parking on Saturday when i pop in to town. So should make it this week. :j

LC - good news about getting back to work and its good to break in slowly. good that your Dr is on side and looking at whats best for you.

freebyfifty and TeamNicholson - congrats on the NSD's.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I never thought I'd be happy to go back to work, but I'm so fed up of being at home, and I can't see how it's helping, and I'm terrified if it went on much longer I REALLY would struggle to get back to a routine. So yes, I am pleased. Will try and be productive on my last few days off, but I haven't been so far in the last few weeks - I'm not sleeping well and can't concentrate, so we'll see how that pans out!

NSD from this challenge yesterday, did have some spends from grocery.

Today I'm just going down to get the new sick note/phased return note from the Dr's. I need to buy some very cheap wrapping paper to do pass the parcel but nothing else. I hope I can be strong as have had a massively spendy week. (Although NOTHING in comparison to what I used to be like!)

This evening I'm just going to mooch at home. I have A1d! chocolate to keep me company which I shouldn't have too much of...famous last words! I can't really drink alcohol on these new tablets which may save me some money longer term, depending on how long I'm on them. downside is the wedding, although I am allowed to have one glass of wine VERY occasionally. Quite frankly I'm too scared after reading about these tablets, they seem really hardcore!!!

Anywho, have a lovely day all. Well done on your low spends!

PS - After the spa day that went quite wrong, we are now all going to be getting a full refund. So I will be £52.50 better off than expected this month! Yay! Won't count it till I have it though!

NSD for me yesterday and today. Small spend planned for tomorrow on car parking. Oooo and a paper actually.

TeamNicholson - i have also started to include Saturdays otherwise i just spend on Saturdays and tell myself it is ok as it isnt included. Doh. :D

Have a good weekend all. I've got a quiet one as hubby is away again this weekend. So I am trying to decide whether to do a small grocery shop so i can do some batch cooking to keep me occupied. This will come from my grocery budget.
