Hi all
I didn't post again yesterday due to an impromptu (and VERY cold) BBQ at my friends!
Just realised I haven't actually written down my budget... I'm going for £45. This is because I have to get the supplies mentioned earlier and also the little prizes.
thanks for the suggestions... I'm not really into the whole baby shower thing, it's very Americanised, but a friend is organising for another friend so can't exactly not go!!! I do like games though
abundant1972 thanks for the post it idea... I'm thinking that might be a good fourth game - I could make it relevant by having words on there related to babies or something. I'll have to ask my friend as to be fair I know nothing about this area, and when the friend organising sent round a list of options for presents (oh yes, another thing for me to buy), I didn't even know what half the things were on there! I swear, things are getting ridiculous in this country  Seriously been considering taking a year out in Ausor something. That's another story.
wannabee - I'm miserable in terms of the baby thing but not the games, I love playing games :rotfl: (inside I'm sure I'm an 8 year old, not the 28 year old I actually am!) I don't have one of those stores near me unfortunately, in fact never heard of them till a few weeks ago when I saw them mentioned on another thread! Either way, I'm thinking more of prizes that work out a few for a pound, e.g. last time I got some little toiletries sets of bottles, and broke them into individual prizes - I mean something really small, just a token! I think I'll go bargain hunting on payday Wednesday.
Unfortunately spends yesterday in total to declare of £8.64. Not the best start!

Evening all
Spends for me today were £2 on breakfast at work. I resisted the urge to buy coffee at work and I also went to the gym. So all in all a productive start to the week:D
I hope you are all having a good Monday. I am off work on Wednesday without a purpose, so I am going to have a day where I please myself. I am going to go to the gym, have a cinema day and some lunch out then go to my friend's house for dinner. I want to try and see 3 things at the cinema so I need to plan my schedule. This will be a record for me as the most I have seen is 2 films in a day. I have a cinema card so I am trying to get value for money;)Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hey all
Well, just a small spend for me today from my Groceries budget, nothing from this budget.
WelshDreamer - thanks for the idea, I'm not sure on that one, as the people attending are scattered far and wide, so likely to be the only "celebration" for this particular baby...
Welcoms TeamNicholson, i've added to the list, good luck!
pp you've been very virtuous today by the sound of it! Which films do you want to see?
scotmumof3 sounds like you're on track for a purple week!!! Fantastic so far!

Evening all
2 x NSD, has been helped by the fact that i haven't been paid yet. and therefore don't have any money, not a single penny.
Am taking out my £20 tomorrow, so that should cover tea tomorrow night, also just been invited to the cinema on Weds night. So will need to make sure i spend as little as possible tomorrow evening so i can pay for the cinema without going over my £20.
Pretty sure i can manage it.
I can't believe we are pretty much into Tueday already, where are the days going.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Good Morning
pp - If I went to the gym in the morning and then went to the cinema to see 3 films in a row, I'd be asleep before the beginning of the third one:rotfl: Which films do you want to see??
LC - I've never been to a baby shower before (too Americanized for me) so I have no ideas for you - sorry,:( but I hope you enjoy yourself.
Another lovely NSD for me yesterday.
