LC and FBF thing of going to see The Artist, Chronicle and Man on a ledge has anyone seen them? I will have coffee to keep me awake :-p
LC for party games I heard one of my friends say she went to one where the game was guess the chocolate bar. The organiser had melted different chocolate bars onto nappies to give it a baby theme (bit disgusting of you think about it too much). That one should be cheap to put together and everyone loves chocolate.
Happy Tuesday everyone.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hi guys,
Sorry I didn't realise I didn't pop on yesterday! NSD anyway (last day before payday so fairly predictable!)
Good news - I was expecting to lose a good chunk of pay this month due to the sick leave and the fact my contract says we get SSP only for the first 3 days, then 6 weeks full and 6 weeks half pay (discretionary up to manager). Anyway, i got my normal full pay packet so I'm really relieved because due to South Africa at the end of the month I was really going to be tight this month! So I'm really relieved (woke up at 3am this morning and forced myself to go online and check, hehe!). One less thing to worry about.
NSD yesterday as mentioned, today I'm doing grocery shop (just small, from food budget), possible toiletries shop and I really need to check out suntan lotion offers so I can find the cheapest as I will burn like a burny thing if I'm not careful - it was 38 degrees over there the other day! We've heard that B00ts are doing BOGOF so me and my friend were going to split the two bottles, thus paying half price each. Can anyone think of a better deal? I'll go with s0ltan, b00ts own brand (haven't been on holiday for YEARS and can't remember the last time I bought suntan lotion!) as it smells nice and I remember using it as a child - again unless any good recommendations?
Well done to all who are having NSDs!
chris I've updated the first page - highly unusual for you to be red! Hope you had a lovely time out though!
pp have a great time at the cinema, and that nappy thing sounds disgusting!!! I don't think I can bring myself to do that!!! But very original... *shudder*
scotmumof3 - £2 is not a bad way of blowing it! Clearly you have some self control (me, I just binge and then feel guilty after!!!)
Oh yes, I read the info leaflet on my new tablets which I start tomorrow, and I can't drink alcohol. At all. I can't imagine I'll be off them before SA, so looks like I'll be having a t-total time at the wedding. on the upside, as my flight is the next day, it means I won't be hungover. Bit annoyed though, it's the one event where I would have wanted a few drinks! And they've got a special South African pink champagne and everything... grr. Hey ho, probably a blessing in disguise as it'll mean I spend less!
today I need to get the little prizes plus some cheap wrap to do pass the parcel (hehe) so I'll go to card fact0ry as it's right by the big Mr T I'm going to. My lovely mum is printing off an A3 colour picture of a cartoon baby that we found online, while she's at work (shhh...) , and some pink and blue dummies that I'll cut out for people to have one each, so I can have pin the dummy on the baby (quite pleased with that one!). Need to do the quiz still and something about the 4th game...!
Spendy day today!
