  • Mr. & Mrs. Conway met on a very rainy evening. It was the end of summer, and peeing it down with rain when I decided to go out with a girlfriend of mine to a nightclub late on Saturday on a whim. We danced quite crazily on the dancefloor for a good two hours until Mr. Conway grabbed me for a dance.. We swapped numbers, had a date the next Wednesday, and have been inseparable ever since.

We got engaged after two months (I proposed! He screamed "Yes!" ! We knew we were perfect for each other). Now 2 1/2 years on, happily married, will hopefully have mini-Conways in a few years time (Mr. Conway wants a rugby team).

Met my OH online, we both played the same online game, he didn't talk much but seemed alright, then one day we were the only people online of our usual group so we spent a while chatting and just clicked. I only thought of him as a good friend at first but over time realised that actually he fitted pretty much everything I wanted in a guy (even though at that stage I hadn't even seen a photo of him; he was very shy and low on confidence so had convinced himself he was ugly, which is not true - I'll grant he's a bit geeky-looking, but I like that look!).

After a few months we agreed we wanted to meet up - living 400 miles apart made that rather inconvenient but we decided to spend a couple of days in a town halfway between us. Both of us being extremely shy, we struggled at first, but after an evening of chatting and getting more relaxed together, we were fine, and there was no doubt we wanted to meet up again by the end. Spent the next year spending most of my money on trains to either meet up in the middle or go to his place (he works and I don't, so it was easier for me to travel to his place than him to mine, although he did visit me a few times), then we started looking for a place together. Been living together 18 months now and still very happy, just counting myself very lucky that we happened to end up with the same mutual group of ingame friends and get to know each other. :)

I met my DH is 2007 on deviantART. We got talking, then exchanged MSN addies in 2008. We met in November 2008 and I moved in with him and his family in February 2009, 160 miles away! I did fancy him, but I wasn't sure where it would lead when we started talking. I had only ever been in rubbish relationships with guys who didn't respect me or treat me that well so I was a bit apprehensive.

Anyway, as I said, moved in in February 2009. He proposed in August 2009 and we were married in October 2010. :) He's the best thing that has ever happened to me and this is the best relationship I have ever been in. :)

    I'm 25 and he's 22 and we're also best friends. :)

I didn't fancy my OH when we first met. I was out with a group of friends at a pub quiz. He was a friend of one of the group and was sitting down the other end of the table. He said something about me to his mate, and by the time it got down the table to me it was quite insulting (what he'd said was perfectly innocent, he'd asked if I was related to someone else in the group as we looked alike). The joy of chinese whispers!

I got v drunk that night, and ended up having a go at him in a taxi about what I thought he'd said. He came back to mine to 'explain' (!) and we've been together ever since (just over 6 years). I wasn't sure for the first few weeks and really thought there wasn't a spark there, then one day it literally just hit me out of nowhere.
