On a night out with friends and my ex I was still hung up on came out with DH. DH is so socially awkward and a bit camp so I thought he was gay! Did think he was cute and kissed him but then got bored and avoided him lol
Next day I added him on Facebook and the rest is history x x

I met my OH at school when I was 11 & had my first kiss with him on my 12th birthday, we were always really friendly in school, talking on the phone most night etc but despite being attracted to each other never formerly got together. Didn't see each other after age 15 until we became facebook friends, got chatting & discovered that we lived about 200m apart & were both not long out of long term relationships. Decided to have a catch up drink & now we live together, are engaged & expecting our first child x

I'd worked at the same place as my OH for a year, one night I was out with a friend and the OH was in the pub, we chatted a bit and later my friend's boyfriend turned up to walk her to the bus stop. I joked that OH would walk me to the bus stop, I was quite horrified when he said yes because I was only joking and didn't really fancy him at all. 27 years and 2 grown-up kids later we're still together.

my dh i agreed to a date to shut him up i was 18 and working in his local pub i slept through our first date then we met up in pub and it went from there nearly 17 years later married with 3 kids

Met him at the pub. Thought he was rude (he wouldn't really talk to me much) so just spent the evening chatting with his friends. He then chased me for about 2 months before I agreed to meet up with him, we did, and it was honestly perfect. Turns out he was too shy to talk to me at the pub! Idiot!

Friends for years but never both single at same time. Always the shoulder through the breakups we both had, always the one to make each other smile. Was wing man / woman for each other on nights out too! Lol.

Eventually we were both single at about the same time and we're each others 'shoulder' again. Well this time it finally happened and even tho we kept it secret for a long time our friends were thrilled

I kind of had this with one of my exes. I met him when i was 15 (on a school trip to alton towers), though i said i was 16, and he was 18...anyway not long after i came clean about my age and that was that. About 6 months later (i was actually 16) after splitting up with my first bf i got in contact again. We arranged to meet, and i just didn't fancy him. But we kind of became best friends and about 6 months later a friend of mine pretty much pushed us to admit our feelings for each other. We were together 18 months after that.

Last ex i met in a nightclub, i don't think either of us planned for it to be more than a one night thing but i was still at his house 3 days after (my friends thought i'd gone missing ) and we were together for 3 1/2 years
