Can I join? I'm going to start with £10 and do the old charity/ebay stuff, can't do race for life this year so anything I get will go to St David's foundation
give me something to do tomorrow too!

Oh i decided to have a wee game of bingo this morning - i spent a whole 25p of my £1.08 and now have £3.90 :rotfl::rotfl: - not bad considering i started with nothing in that account
So that takes me up to £5.37 of my £14 targetgetting there slowly but surely....have to make sure i don't start losing it again mind you

Two sales from eBay to add to my total - £5.65 - I will amend the total when I get the ebay fees through. Following Natterjack's recommendation about baycrazy.com I've got some bids on some furniture and have purchased a dolls house to sell locally. Thanks Natterjack and thanks Fairyclicks for the FAB lead.
Not sure yet that I've really started. I've sold some items that I already had and made some money on the Bingo. Perhaps the fair thing would be to total all that up and then start the challenge from that point?
So I've received a total of £53.56 - to make it simpler then my "stake" money will be £50 - this is the figure that I want to double in this challenge.
(on reflection it's already 10 x my original figure - yahoo!).
I'll now put this on my signature. Sorry for the long post but it is easier to write it down to understand.1 debt in 100 days £48.43/£374 - over 10% paid!

Ohhh well done on the sales alreadyand the bids/purchases - i have to check out baycrazy yet - will do that today actually
Its up to you really on how you want to record your earnings for the challenge. The way i do it is if i spend more on top of my initial amount i add that to the target multiplied by 2 (so if i spend another £5 i add £10 to my tartget) and then any earnings/sales/wins etc are added to my balance total so far. I don't count money in from anything previously purchased unless i can add the amount i paid for it to the target amount. Of course though if you sell something to get a starting amount then thats all good too
Hope that helps to clarify things a bit
Right, off to nosey on baycrazy and see what i can see, might even manage to go to the local car boot for a nosey there too LOL!Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

You wondering what to do for the challenge Rosie?
I'm thinking i should write up some ideas for the intro post maybehelp a few people out when they are not sure how or where to start! Do you have any general idea of what way you would like to do it?
Are you thinking buy and sell? Double your groceries? Double your savings? Double your income? Double your survey money?
There are also things like double your ebay sales, double your petrol (as in make it go further), or double your club card points/account points.
If you have no money to start with why not look around the house to see if you have something you could sell, then try to double the money made from that sale.
You could start with 1p and see if you can find another 1p searching for the famous roadkill (as in money you find on the ground for anyone who hasn't come across the term in the context of money before!)
There may be more options, those are just off the top of my head - can anyone think of any others??:D

Well i have managed to get the second book on amazon posted off and have made 77p profit on that - doing quite well with them i have to say making more than double what i spent on them - just need to sell the rest now :rotfl:
So that takes me up to £6.14 of my £14 targetpleased with that so far! Still have some of my original purchases to add to ebay yet as well - not listed any of the clothes i bought yet
Have to find them again now!!
Also i bought a wee incense tin thingy today at the charity shop for 50p so going to list that and see what i can get! This takes my target up to £15 now!Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

With my £50 so far I have spent £6.16 on a dolls house and £16.68 on a three legged corner table, nursing chair and tea trolley. I plan to put them onto my first craft stall as "window dressing" but if any one wants them will sell. That won't be until a week tomorrow but in the meantime I have to make lots of craft products to sell on stall. Luckily I've got stashes of "raw ingredients" to make things just need some inspiration.
On the bingo front I've referred a friend and hopefully will make something from the £10 deposit that gives me.
I'm watching lots of items found through baycrazy - now its just a waiting game. Has anyone tried buying plug plants (eg the £100 plants for £15 on email this week) and then planting them up and selling them on at a bootie? I'm wondering whether this would be cost effective. I think there's 20 plants so therefore 75p each plus compost and plastic pot. I'm working on a double cost sale price so each plant would need to sell at £1.50. What do you think?1 debt in 100 days £48.43/£374 - over 10% paid!
