Well done Fairyclicks - sounds that you've got the right idea. Are you buying fiction or non fiction? How do you know what sells? Gosh it's such a steep learning curve this. Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks katrss :D i was pleased about that i have to say! To be honest i have no idea what sells so its a big learning curve for me too - i sold one fiction and one sociology text one so no clue there either! I thought well its 25p a book and even at car boots i'm sure i could get that back if not more so i was sort of taking a chance with it!

Talking of taking a chance i have another confession :rotfl: this is going to be the fess up challenge at this rate :o

Anyway, i decided this morning that i would see if i could get some free 10ps on fab as i withdrew everything from my account yesterday. I was lucky and got 80p added. I then thought i would buy 1 ticket at 25p.....and i won 70p :D, I thought i would buy another ticket and won again taking my balance to £1.58 - wow i thought thats almost doubled....i just need 2p more......bought 2 more tickets and won nothing :rotfl: - thats what i get for not quitting while i was so close!! I did stop though and have an extra £1.08 in my account that i didn't have this morning so i am adding that to my total :D

I didn't get to the post office yet with the books, will do that tomorrow and add that money when i get it from amazon - just realised it takes some time to come through :( thats going to hinder me being able to use the money to buy more bits for a while but sure, will think of something :D

For now then my double money balance is £1.08/£14 and i'm off the starting blocks :D

Hi Fairyclicks, was the figure you quoted the amount you'd paid out by how much you've made to date (or vice versa)? Well done on your winnings and particularly well done for stopping whilst you're ahead. What is FAB though?

Yep katrss - i have made £1.08 so far out of my £14 target :) Fab is a bingo site i joined a few weeks ago using a risk free option. If you use a referral you get £10 credited to your account but you also have to deposit £10 and play through it to get that. When you deposit £10 you also get a bonus payment of £20 from the site - you have to play double your deposit bonus (so £40 you have to play through which you have in your account if you use the referral option - (£10 ref + £10 deposit + £20 bonus) if you then refer someone else you will get another £10 credited to your account which you can withdraw giving you your £10 deposit back as well as having £40 to play with.

Basically if you join with a referral and get someone else to join as well you will have got £40 to play with for nothing and you can withdraw any winnings - i got £146 back but some people have won nothing. Now i have the account i have figured out how to get free 10ps :D

I am pretty good about not gambling winnings but i will say it does open the temptation just by having the account and takes strong will power to be able to stop while ahead. So anyone reading this please don't think it is easy - its easy to get sucked in which is obviously what the company want!!

If anyone does want to use it I am happy to provide a ref which is on the referral thread or you can PM me, but please be careful if you do open an account and don't be silly with your money!!!!

Sorry for my awful maths :D

I found nothing- the charity shops seem to be quite expensive! I will have a look to see if there are any car boots around- although I work Sundays.

Well i have just got my first amazon payment credited to my account :j very exciting all that! worked out i have made £1.47 profit on that wee sale taking me up to £2.55/£14 so far :)

Anyone else making anything or have any more ideas yet?

I was thinking about the music trade in thingy - isn't there something you can add on your phone to scan things? thought that might be a good way to know what to buy along that line ;) i wonder is there one for books? will have to check that out!

Also i think there is something about getting cashback as well when trading in - going to have a look into that as well and will let you all know how i get on :)
