Right, I've clawed some money back for things I've sold to friends.
I started with £15 which I got from selling one item.
I've just got three items left to sell, which should leave me with a total of £39.27.
I'm listing items on ebay at the moment but they don't seem to be doing very well. I've only got 5 views on one of my items for the past 7 days, and none of them are watching the item. What am I doing wrong?0 -

Are they camera things Dean? Have you checked for other listings of the same things and compared prices etc? Have you included info in the title to encourage people to look? Have you them in the right category? I'll try another item tonight and I'll imitate a successful item that sold for a good price. What's the deal with free listing allowances on ebay?0 -

Good IdeaThe free listing allowance is only for 99p starts at the minute and haven't heard anything about free listing for the weekend so its not likely to be on this week.

Do you start your listings at 99p? I've been starting mine at the price i want to get (always lower than market) so that i'm happy to sell whether there's 1 bid or 100 bids.0 -

I do a mixture of things, but then i am happy to take the risk of selling at 99p for some things. I also use buy now with make an offer which works quite well for some things. Just found out its free listing next weekend so you might want to wait for that
Oh i sold another double money item for £10 todaybought for £6 so not exactly double but happy enough with that
So that means i have:
purchased 53 items for £120.02
sold 10 items for £87.81 (after fees)
leaving me with 43 items and £32.21 to make before i'm in profit,
£152.23 to make for double money target.
Am looking forward to getting into the profit side of thingsDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go
