Thanks money spider,
was looking at things children orientated, clothes and toys. Where i work have really good discounts every so often(disney toys reduced to £1.(have a small stack already meant to be put away for xmas but I only bought them as they were £1 lol 90p after staff disc). Also have a shopping outlet shop that we can get realllly cheap branded products. Obviously this will only be ok for ebay not local bootsales (as locals know the outlet).
we are going to look around next Thursday for ideas. Looking forward to this as read the millionaire thread and the double your money every day starting with £1 for a month and make a million (wishful lol but someone has to do it )Fiscal Fast = 7 NSD out of 9 days

Been gone a while but still been busy! I found out Im pregnant with number 2 so Im not selling on the girls bundle I bought until I find out what Im having! eBay business is going really well I've almost reached my first double up. Im now on 206/250 so hoping I will reach that this month. My number of listings for business side had got down to 10 (should have been at around 20-25 so sat last night and got up to 28- Think I should be able to get up to 30 tonight then 35 next week. Hope everyone is busy doubling their pennies!£20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j
£20 a day May 2014 £108.45/£6000 -
First 2 lots on ebay have finished - 1 sold, 1 didn't. The lot that sold (jewellery) I was hoping for £50, in the end sold for £73. After p&p and ebays outrageous selling fees I will be left with £61.32.
I am doing my first antiques fair stall this weekend so I will have the stuff that didn't sell on ebay, the other auction lots I bought with my first £70 plus anything else I can get this week.Thank-you to everyone who posts comps :beer:0 -
Tomorrow DIL and myself are going out with our £20 each to go and find items to sell.
Been researching on different things we were looking at selling and think we have decided at long last.
Had a clear out of house and have spent the last 2 nights listing 25 things on ebay.... wow forgot how long it takes. Hope I have been ok with P&P charges (maybe should of looked into this a bit more than i did. )
Day off tomorrow so morning shopping and afternoon listing .:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:TFiscal Fast = 7 NSD out of 9 days

Well done on getting started Trueblonde:)
Heres a handy site for keeping track of your postage
http://www.seajays.org.uk/postage/
if you know the weight of your items its dead easy to get the postage right.
Before the postage increase i was pretty good at guessing but im now back to having to double check
I know your going into this with your DIL, how are you going to work that? will everything be split 50/50.
who is doing the listings and posting ect.
If your in any way like me you'll find the listing and packaging up the chore of the job.
Good Luck!! :TBuild your own dreams ~ or someone will hire you to help build theirs

I'm so tempted to do this just as an exciting challenge. Theres a flea market on today I've never been to so I'm off to check it out with £1! I have no idea what I'm looking for, just something I know will sell I guess. I like the thought of up cycling furniture but I think I'd rather keep that as a hobby otherwise I'll put too much pressure on myself. Here's to my first £1 profit!!£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

Good Morning everyone
lovely to see some newbies to the thread!!!
I have been very naughty and got into a bit of a spending frenzy over the past few weeksto the point where i have actually spent my mortgage money :eek: Its so unlike me to do that i really don't know what came over me!
Its time i got back into MSE mode and back into my challenges!!!
One of the things i have spent money on is craft supplies to sell on - i am actually scared to count up what i have spent tbh but i know i need to and well to work on doubling that would really help me to get back into the right mindset again. On the positive side of things i have already sold some things - £40 taken in on Sunday past for craft sales but i actually lifted £92 in total and another £20 on ebay in the past 2 days!
I spent all the money in my amazon account as well so starting from scratch again on there.
Not even looked at Zopa account - i'm sure there is money waiting to be lent out in that account as well! I will do that today and see where i am with earnings etc.
Its good to be back in MSE land even though i'm a tad embarrassed to admit what i have done!Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

I found nothing for £1 yesterday and all the charity shops round here are clued up. I found lots of dresses in CS were very pricey, monsoon dress that was donkeys years old going for £25!! I did however spot a rather lovely French connection dress in fab condition for £8.99. Tempted to keep it myself but I'm going to write a lovely add on eBay and double my money£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0
