I do love that hen house too :D One day...

choille, are there any cafes around that would be interested in buying some of your free-range eggs??

We have rain (& wind :() forecast for later today ~ desperately need the rain as everything is so parched here.

I saw 2 huuuuuge hedgehogs in the garden last night!! They probably want it to rain too, to bring the slugs out!!

It's blowing an absolute gale on the hill today but at least I don't feel so bad about being stuck in front of the computer catching up on my accounts.

Great idea about the lino, Dave. Only yesterday was I looking at the lino on the floor of the kitchen that's about to be torn up thinking "I'm sure there must be a use for that!"

    Wet & windy here, too.
We could probably do with a bit of rain as the grass is still struggling but we don't need the high wind throwing things around.
If it wasn't for a doc's appointment this afternoon I'd stay snuggled up indoors.

This tweet made me smile, though:
"Danger! Signs warning of dangerous gusts on #Barnstaple Bridge have blown over."

Plenty of wind here too, but not the amount of rain I was expecting..... yet. A day for pottering in the polytunnel, hoovering and filing things. :(

CTC, theres a lot you might want to bid on at Andrew & Bethans for Saturday, a box of Orange Le Creuset, about 6 pieces if you are still interested.

Alf, I'll check out the silks and pm you. And I see that while I'm struggling with selling items at £4.99 here and £3.99 there, you set the benchmark with an item bid of £999.99 :p Well done you!

Just got back from a nightmare drive on the M4, wet with ferocious cross winds .

Yes, we are getting some of that m4 style wind here. It's swirling and coming from all directions, which I suppose must be taking some of the force out of it.

Looking at a horse that is a potential rescue situation next week.
