I have plugged in an electric heater....just cannot be hefting wood about. The pellet boiler is gobbling pellets but not heating the house up, so the dogs have a heater, I have a heater in the sitting room, and the electric blanket upstairs, so I have turned the heating off. I will use the heat for a bath.

I actually smell terrible:o so sitting in some hot soapy water will do me more good I think. :o

It really is biting weather at the mo...

I was sooo cold in work earlier my hands and lips were going blue.... so was home by about 4pm...

I really am finding the older I get the more I am feeling the cold...and I don't class myself as old ( yet)

Alfie that sounds lovely.. and comfortable

Davesnave... If they are selling dvd's let me know...

CTC, fewer bulk lots than at Andrew's. We bought a fair amount within our price levels so that was good. One face I recognised but most were different buyers.

Tbh, prices at Andrews vary depending on how many bidders turn up. One time we might buy 30 lots, another time 5 lots is all :(

We took a few gambles this time to expand our knowledge of classic porcelain, ask me in a few weeks whether we got it right!!

LIR - Hope you get better soon & stay cosy.

    Sofa sounds posh Alfie.

Rhiwfield - I dare not go to an auction as I used to go all the time in a previous life & they are addictive - I need to get rid of stuff at the mo.

Woman appeared down here earlier & srapped a sattelite thing on her back. It was someone from the Ministry & I was inspected. I filled i my l;st application in their office with their advice using their maps & seems I overclaimed & I will have to pay back & will possibly be fined. The woman was really nice & stuff but boy am I angry as I have not done owt wrong that I was aware of & it was just enough to cover Winter feed if that & I didn't know how to do the form so I went & got them to do it for me!

Gosh I am sickened about this.

Well, she was nice, but when I said that I had gone through to their office & asked them how to fill the form in, done it then & there under their guidance using their maps, she said that they can accept no responsibility.

I will get on to my union. It seems ludicrous & wrong. Big massive estates claim thousands & thousands & employ folks to get as much as possible, keep no stock & employ to real workers. I only claim a few hundred & it is so I can keep the sheep. It is another squeeze from Europe to get rid of the small crofts.
