oooooo and well done dave for 1st night ? ... they WILL get it ....
    p.s.
well if mr dog has given the "prowler" acess through his garden he can be in deep poop...... acessory to trespass..

I think the audiences tonight and Saturday will be up for it more. I could even get booed for breaking a painting over my husband's head and saying rude things about the lower classes. Really, I deserve it! :p

Our belly-dancing, snake charmer's bra fell off again last night. I think it has become part of his act now! :rotfl:

It could have been Mr Dog with the big boots. He is entitled to go down to the stream anytime. I wouldn't want to use the water though, considering his septic tank drainage outflow ends there! I have pictures. ;)

Thanks for the heads up about the free listing weekend..choille:beer: got loads to do this weekend, but I really do need to try and get one or two bits listed, or even re-listed:p

Davesnave glad the panto is going good, I am sure people do get the sense of humour of it, but are just afraid to laugh, ( especially if it is a bit politically incorrect)

Right off to find another pair of socks to put on to try and keep my toes warm later..:D

Better audience last night, so the Panto went better too, although I almost suffered props failure as the legs of my easel began to slide, but it didn't collapse until the point at which I smacked my husband over the head with the painting, so that was OK.....:D

There will be a DVD. I think he has to shoot a bit more tonight & cobble them together.

I shall be more nervous this evening as DD1, who is a proper am-dram actress in her spare time, will be watching.

Still sort of snowing here, with a light dusting over everything. We seem to be very much dried out now. :)

    morning all....

well im gonna try and list on the bay this weekend...

it is freezing cold here...1degree when i got up
i have discovered why my lawn is still mud whilst all around is dry....DRAINS :(

SPENT YESTERDAY AFTERNOON RODDING THE DRAIN....

as its old pipe work, the pipe from kitchen sink to main drain has joint displacement... god knows how/what can be done to put right that isnt gonna send the agent into a froth !!:(

trouble is there is plenty i could do here ie refit the kitchen etc but am sitting on the fence till i can choose the right time to confront/negotiate with them ....

    i have various options...

1...ask if they would sell the house [with a surveyors report]
2...ask if i can have **yr free lease in lieu of repairs paid out..
3....ask them to do it all...:rotfl:
    4...move...

trouble is i LOVE this house and will find it hard to move but have to be practical..:(

p.s. electrician has not shown up [3 weeks now] since he said he was putting in a fuse box, after i questioned how he would split the wiring re the fuses if box is outside ?..... i rest my case your honor.....;)

Basking in 3C here and the polytunnel at 9C. I've potted up a couple of courgettes, which are now looking somewhat optimistic, even though they were planned for under plastic.:o

Do you think your place would be affordable to buy, alfie, bearing in mind where you are and the prettiness of the place? Ugly and tied was what made our place a bargain basement buy, but you have shedloads of Quaint!

I'm so tired and I've done nothing exhausting. Hope lir is OK, and all the rest of you with lurgy. If I don't get something after being cooped-up in a small side room with 20+ other bods for a total of over 24 hrs this week, it will be a blooming miracle. :(

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Thanks dave, your royal highness,

I am ok. I feel a bit better. We took today officially off ( it's almost spring so love is in the air, ya know?) and I am getting over the bug or whatever, I am now in the process of rehydrating and hope to be great soon.
  • Bitterly cold but no snow here. It's about on the moor but actually nearer to you than me, Dave.
Keep warm. It could be the onset of the dreaded lurgy. A friend of mine has come down with mumps which is, apparently, rife at Exeter Uni & spreading out. :(

Glad to hear you're on the mend LIR. :j
I'm at the horrid catarrh stage. Sinuses blocked & a taste in my mouth like I've swallowed a rotting ferret _pale_
