My camera is on the way out, switch isn't switching, but I'll try tomorrow when I get back Alfie.

I wondered about ringmaster & also toast master, but think a ring master has a black collar? It looks tailored & quite expensive with good quality woven wool fabric, yet poly-something lining. Nice brass buttons.

  • Hi All,

why is it when you got to get up early, you cant sleep, but manage to nod off just before the alarm goes off:mad::mad::rotfl::rotfl:

sitting here snuggled up on the sofa, having a cuppa and rac road reports...motorway looks pretty clear now except around cardiff gate, but there is no motorway camera there for me to see exactly what the conditions are like, will switch tv on and see there is anything on the regional news....

My short term memory is terrible, but as I say to DW, it was never great to start with....

Yes, mine's pretty dire too, but I can usually remember if I had a visitor half an hour ago! When they asked in hospital if she had help at home she said yes a woman comes to clean once a week. At that point she was having carers in 3 times a day 7 days a week. We ended up with a Guest Book for people to sign so we knew who'd visited. The carers had their own book of course.

Haven't visited since November, but OH says she seems a lot brighter and more cheerful since she's been in the hospital. Thinks it because she has company there, at the flat once she couldn't get out most of her day was spent alone (apart from when the carers in but they would be busy). Up until she broke her wrist last July (think it was July) she was out most days going to classes, visiting friend, doing own shopping etc. She was still driving then of course.

Ctc drive carefully. Pockets down there have had it badly.

We had a massive snow storm ladt night, but none stuck and we have slush rather than ice this morning.

  • looks as though the motorways are now clear, so just about to head off, ok about 3 hours later than what we wanted, but at least the rush hour traffic has cleared any remnants of snow away
