If it's wobbly I think a dentist could do it, alfie. Don't worry.
Once upon a time a wobbly tooth would have been a string round a door handle job :D Anyone else remember that method?

Hope you had a good day CTC & it went really well.

I have an impacted wisdom tooth & am on the waiting list to see someone at hospital to have it looked at & then hopefully taken out. But have had a couple of loose ones out - they are a nusiance usually.

Very cold again - spent the day on a polytunnel course thingy which was interesting but the afternoon got very cold out doors. Not used to spending a day listening & around others so feel really quite tired. Tried to get a bonfire going tonight but stuff is still too wet & green. Gorgeous clear sky with all the stars twinkling.

well it is wibbly wobbly and she reckons will come out easy but im a bit worried now ! i have a fear as it is...

Don't worry Alfie, I had a wisdom tooth out at the dentist about 14 years ago and it was fine. Your dentist won't start it if they think they can't finish it :)
  • CTC, do you have a website? I'm a crafter and I'd be interested in seeing what you have :)

Have put the horses put on some clean grass. It's too wet really but as everything is forecast to get worse they need a day of relent from the same old same old.

We've all had a bit of a moan lately about the weather but I just read an online book of old weather proverbs, one of the more thought provoking is:
"A green winter makes a fat churchyard"

    Or:
    • January blossoms fill no man's cellar
    • Under water, dearth, Under snow, bread.
    • Remember on St. Vincent's day, If that the sun his beams display, Be sure to mark his transient beam, Which through the casement sheds a gleam ; For 'tis a token bright and clear, Of prosperous weather all the year (so that's a washout then :rotfl::rotfl: )
    And to come
    • February fill dyke, be it black or be it white, But if it be white it's the better to like.
    • The Welshman had rather see his dam on the bier, Than to see a fair Februeer.

Glad CTC made it OK. Hopefully the weather will kick the Fair off to a good start. :)

I was out last night and the roads weren't too bad, even in these wildish parts. It didn't thaw, but it was barely freezing. Should have been almost tropical down at Exeter! ;)

Glorious sunshine for us today, at least for the majority of it. :DEverything dripping nicely, but the sight of the spring water bubbling-up in the hen orchard on Monday still haunts me. I think we'll see it again on Friday or Saturday. :(

Sheep due to leave us at the weekend, so the field, now eaten well down, will have some respite.

I absolutely agree.....I like a cold winter. It cleans up diseases (garden and animal) even if it's tough on the old.

What I dislike is the cold summer preceeding and the constant wet!!!

That hits the nail on the head :T although I think much of the "kills germs" has more to do with severe weather keeping people closer to home &, therefore, less opportunity for spread of disease.

Beautiful sunshine & blue sky today. We've hardly seen that in the last few summers :rotfl:
Thawing nicely but I don't think there's enough hours left to finish the job before nightfall &, presumably, the return of freezing temperatures.
