Cold here but no more snow. We went to check out the windows of someone who used one of the builders who may be on our tender list. Nice aluminium windows.....
Everything is revolving around sorting out the building work these days.
Mum is coming tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to seeing her, as are the kids. I feel a bit mean bringing her to this cold caravan but she's from a hardier generation, so she'll be okay.
Hope they cancel your fayre if that's what you want CTC. There have been a few at the mansion near us and one or two of the stall holders have complained that they didn't even make their stall money back.... Money.... Harumph. Wouldn't it be lovely to have enough time and enough money? I've only ever had one or the other....0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Rhiw.
Absolutely nothing to report from here. No more snow, no more rain, no change really. The snow is just sitting there. The only things I've seen moving outside are the ponies, loads of rabbits & various birds.
It looks like we may be in for some more snow over the next couple of days.
We usually know when things are starting to improve when the postie arrivesNo sign of him since Thursday.

Had a great result from the big bin bag fiasco.:D
Eventually located the person acting as management, who has been on the case in no small way.:) He's also headed off the potential boundary problem the Twonks were intent on creating.
So, that's 2 - 0 to us. We can sell things, even if it offends the Twonks and we own our wall! :T
But remember, Twonks never give up and they're always alert for that little mistake... :eek:
Planning permission next.....:cool: What do you mean "Again?":rotfl:
Edit: Also heard of someone who will do the structural on our barn instead of Mr Dreckly, who has looked at it twice now and disappeared. Apparently, these guys, "Work like ******* " which, coming from Pete, must mean they're almost superhuman. :beer:0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I had forgotten that sketch! My parents were liberal-minded enough to let me watch NTNOCN, given that I was born in '71 - I suppose being an only child had some advantages :cool:
And how funny, I now live about 10 miles from the borough of Lewisham! I would say the London borough in which I live is better, but that wouldn't be entirely true, but it's certainly not worse. And yes I can think of a fair few problems that would be solved by the measures detailed in the sketch!"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -
