    helloooo

CTC..... if you get stuck or some tw*t hits you  then you could stand to be a lot worse off than just losing entrance fee. if you cant get there due to weather, does the show not do a partial refund ? i honestly think if the area is snow bound no punters are going to attempt to get there ! which means 3 days of frustration.... all your work for nothing. if you add up ... fuel cost, danger cost, frustration cost, 3 days away from business and compare entrance fee loss.....only you can work out the lesser of the evils !!
how did the shop do for you ? did it work/pay ?

oh i am a party pooper !!:o just worry re yr luck with caravans..:( :D

no more snow here, a lot has gone but i get the salt winds off the coast here...:(
my budha squirell is fit to burst now. he/she waddles to the table now...:rotfl::rotfl: i have a squiggel food table then they leave the bird food alone....;)

a police, ambulance convoy went past this morning :( as this road leads to rural, bit scary for someone in trouble !

i am doing a mountain of washing now that somehow crept in to a pile in the kitchen...needs must as run out of jeans....:D
will take it to marina dryers later...

i can remember deep snow as a child [infact i seem to remember MOST winters ??] dad used to build a snowman at night so we'd see it in the morning AND i can remember an igloo !!:j:j

Alfie... if we cancel it would be last minute anyway..

We are going to carry on as though we are going to go, and wait until tuesday night/ wednesday morning to see what the roads are like en-route.

If we dont go then I will have to stick a bomb up my butt and get baying to recover the stall fees , the fees were very high, but we were going to risk it, if worst came to worst we would/should have covered our fees....

Shop... I would say broke even.... BUT it was mainly students that were buying,

Rhiwie I have details of an auction you might be interested in..will pm you the details viewing/auction all on friday afternoon/night

Any friends near by you can stay with and leave the caravan at home?

'There' just over an hour away from here, allowing for Exeter traffic. It's probably a bit far, but we have a room ready to go.....:D

Went to see Pete this morning to pay him for last October/November fencing... (finally got a bill last week!:rotfl:) He has no snow! I stood in his yard and I couldn't believe we are under 2 miles apart as the crow flies. I knew we were on the edge, but the snow literally just stops about 1/2 mile from here. Weird!

Ice sculpture :rotfl::rotfl:that would take a LOT of ice!! Seriously, my bedroom was 12 C last night - does your house get colder than that? Besides, it might be a bit milder by then :)

Don't spend the whole time between now and then tidying up Alfie! Really not necessary, I only have size 4 feet and places big enough on the floor for me to put a foot to navigate a room will be fine ;)

We've had about an inch of snow fall so far today, and it's still coming down hard. Cough and cold still going well, may well not take it to work tomorrow as no-one else will want it!

so good you can go and visit your chooks, if there any chance of you having any where you are now?

If you cant is there a community farm anywhere near you???? where you could poss do a bit of volentry work

Nah, there isn't enough room for them and the landlord would freak! We're hoping to buy our on place in the next couple of years so I'll wait till then. I miss the eggs as much as the chooks, can't find anyone to buy them from locally.

We've found its one of the cheapest ways of insulating. Even with DG its still very effective. We leave it in place rather than taking it down for the summer.
