Well it's on my screen! But hey, if it's still not there after I've done my chores, I'll edit out and try again.

    There were more, but.....:o
  • It seems we have the overlap from rhiw.

Nice & snuggly warm on the settee but not a very good night's sleep. Gales kept slamming snow & ice from a large ash tree (not ours, unfortunately, or it would be long gone) against the windows.
Then the power was flicking on & off & the telephones kept resetting with accompanying beeps. I got dressed in the sleeping bag :o & then dashed down to 'forward' the heating as every power cut reset it to midnight. :rotfl:

The hills a couple of miles inland have just appeared so it looks like it's easing off. From the look of the sky there's still plenty more up there unless it warms up enough to fall as rain.

As the sheep have been moved in I doubt we'll see anything on our lane today. It's unblemished white at the moment apart from next door's upturned green recycling box which I can see in the middle of the lane down the hill :rotfl:

The bay tree & olive tree look rather sad as do the arum lily leaves (they'll go grottily soggy - yuck) but should, from previous experience, recover. Can't see much of he other plants at the moment.

Hi all, I'm new here. It's very nice to meet you all, and I hope you don't mind me putting my tuppence worth in.

Welcome & good morning Molly. You can put a lot more than tuppence in here, if you like. :)

We are an eclectic bunch, and there's at least one person on this thread very near you, who may be along before too long...;).
  • Sorry, Molly. Half asleep & didn't welcome you :o Hellloooo

Alex, no chance of getting the carpet person back to cut a piece in? I know it depends where it is, but if the paint is in a less obvious spot...

Snow is turning to rain here and it's already yukky rather than pretty. We have melted snow in the barn too, lir, which is why we have to make it watertight before storing our stuff in there during the refurb. :(

It's really windy & a beautiful bright starry night sky. Cold, but dry.

That's another thing to add to my daydream wishlist ~ as little light pollution as possible ~ I love to stargaze :D

Welcome to Molly  I stayed in Irvine for a while so know North Ayrshire quite well.

lir, hope the wrist gets better soon.

Snowy & cold here, I could be building that snowman later today ;)
