I think she probably intended knocking the price down, anyway. She may have been banking on the fact that having driven all that way you'd think "Oh well, rather than drag it all the way home, yea, I'll lower the price", alfie :(

I'm told it's snowing just inland from here. We have a very light sleet. Too wet to lay at the moment.

Oh, yea..... & in true Conan Doyle fashion it seems we have a murderer(?) loose on the moor.

At least you have the satisfaction of knowing that it all went wrong for her too. :D

Rozee, we're on our nth design as well (lost count! :o) but I know we spent about £1200 on Plan A, which was passed, but never drawn up in full detail, including £400 survey fee and £150 council PP fee.

We have paid another £450 + £150 submission fee, but as we have two designs running currently, I'm not sure how this will work now. Presumably, if the larger plan is approved, the smaller one will not cause any issues and may just be regarded as an amendment. I suppose if we get ball park figures from builders, we'll have some idea which one to go detailed with.

Then, like you, it's either use the architect or QS to draw up full spec to quote on.
  • ITSME......I don't know how far/close it is too you BUT lock your doors, don't go outside on your own, make sure you take your rolling pin with you...

We have sleet, but its mainly rain:rotfl:, diff chanels give us diff weather forcasts, so basically we will either have the snow or not....lol

Every weather thing on the internet is different forecast for us.

Does anyone else find tyhe google weather thing the most inaccurate of all? Earlier it was saying sunny all week, then an hour later snow tomorrow and Tuesday.

Alfie......why did I start painting this stupid cabinet without you here to giggle with. Tediously fussy and I am reminded how hopeless I am at painting,
