Thanks everyone for the good wishes, we have our first viewing tomorrow afternoon
LIR I hope your sprains aren't too bad and the geese have gone to bed by themselves
CTC when you go to Hereford let me know what the prices are like - DH's family are from there and I'm nosy :rotfl:
Try to keep dry and warm everyone, and have a good weekend!"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -
Alex, I don't know about the other dreamers but Herefordshire is quite one of my favourite counties. I find it very beautiful. Prices SHOT up while I was there.0

The geese are staying out tonight, we surrender.
We were confounded that with water levels ceasing to rise and the pump running the water level has dropped four feet today! So the canoe is not going on there because no way for it in or out, and we decided it was not worth the swim. They are going to have to take the gamble.0 -

CTC, FWIW we've both had what seems to be sinus infections this past week which has headaches as a side effect
Just bought some seed potatoes (for chitting) and some overwintering onions that I'm about to stick in. They were half price so if they dont work its no great loss.
People are still spending online, steady now after the crimbo/new year rush.0 -
Popping out of lurking :shhh: how about an upside down pineapple cake, pineapple chutney and don't some curries have pineapple in? Might also give your pigs a nice flavour if you fed them some :T
The thing is Fay... the flipping pigs dont like them:rotfl: the place where we buy the reduced/waste fruit and veg every night has everything in it, and apart from the lemons and limes, I dont want to start refusing things as they might say dont bother so to speak..
Def going to try the upside down cake...:T:T I am doing a beef curry with left over beef, beef and pineapple curry???
Fay...glad you popped out of lurking, should do it more often;)
Rhiwie think you are right... the pain is right between my eyes/top of noseWork to live= not live to work0 -
Hi Fay!
It's quite a nice morning here. All the children seem to be well (for a change: no sick or poo!) and I think I'm going out to jump around on the trampoline!
Dave if it's no trouble, can you let me know who the people you buy your fruit trees from are again? Ta0 -
Morning
LIR I hope you are ok today after your fall. CTC dried pineapple is delicious
My wee brain is in overdrive today after I read last night about pensions being delayed until people are in their 70s  what a horrid thought! So I am going to start taking things a bit more seriously when it comes to money saving as I want to get our finances into a MUCH stronger position.
The garden will play a part in that too as on the years when things work it will reduce our grocery bills (ok maybe only a wee bit) but it is also free exercise and once I get outside I love itTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0
