 what is wrong with people....
you write a description on the "bay"...DESCRIBING THE ITEM ...so why do people then ask you a bl**dy question that is already in said description ???????
i give up.............:o
Once I gave the measurements in the listing heading. Then I was asked what size is it?
OTOH just sold one item after I got a message asking for confirmation no cracks or chips, which I'd already put in description. Except I hadnt. So answered politely and the sale went through, teaching me to observe what I actually said instead of what I thought I'd said!!
Just had the fastest payment ever. Sold 4 high value items, local buyer, cash payment, collected within the hour, sorted!0 -

I know, but as they have to go somewhere, it really comes down to councillors and county planners using a bit of common sense. To an extent, they've done that here, allowing the one that was eventually sited further away from the valley and refusing it when it was closer.
The problem is that they come in all sizes, and the Photoshopped pictures of what they might look like are sometimes very misleading. It's very hit & miss working out what the visual impact wil be.
Then there's the noise......I need to get up close with this one. Many of us are still a bit in the dark about that.
I remain to be convinced that these things are as great as some people make out.
A number of the turbines at Fullabrook failed the noise test as you probably noticed.
Did you see the video made by the antis about the Atlantic Array?
I must admit to not having watched it avidly (I no more believe the antis than I do the pros - both having agendas to make statistics fit their causes - but there were parts that caught my attention & gave food for thought. The Fullabrook section starts at around 22.40
