Off to bed soon, its been a long, long day.

Combined auction preview and sale today, brought back a car full of stuff and spent a few hours doing first sort, including some interesting friendly society regalia that I need to check out. May need to consult a Marple . Lots of carp as well but also enough better stuff to turn a fair profit. At the same time sales have been going really well and we'll have about 30 parcels to send out on Monday :eek:

Even better news is that our Cuckoo Maran is back in lay, so scrambled eggs is back on the brekkie menu :j

It's still pretty nasty here weather wise & the temp has plummeted & now hailing. The gusts aren't as bad - thank goodness as it gets scary.

Off to bed as I've been listing OH's ( really mine ) stuff & feel cross eyed.

sssssssshhhhhhhhhhh...its not raining here ! actually got a bit of blue sky !!

i am sat with a massive tangle of elec fencing tape ! i have to re run the perimeter of mabels paddock. she doesnt come out on the road but shes in and out of the fencing at the mo like a yoyo... so if i take it to the hedge then hopefully she will stay ..... i have to get another battery as it seems to drain overnight, it keeps earthing and draining.....

It was very stormy again last night and up until about an hour ago it was pouring down. The sky is now a bit brighter

hahahaha...mabel has followed me around like a bl**dy surveyor !!

she has decided to plonk down now between 2 trees...just come back for my camera.... so will post pic of my big fat darling if she is still there ..:)

needless to say im a tad muddy :eek:

:eek: I just went to take the bins out and it is freezing :eek: a huge gust of wind blew and nearly blew me off my feet :eek: I think I may not venture out again today.

Ok - been to plot and the water is down a little. Pulled some veg - huge parsnips, beets and leeks. And got some horseradish out of the laundry basket where the OH put it when he dug the last lot out as I've had a request for some. Got very muddy, as had to slurp the parsnips out of the clayey soil and when digging them out it was very very very wet. So then had to wash hands in the standing water. Must remember to wash them again before cooking lunch.

Another night of gales & snow & hail. The winds picking up again & we are forecast for heavy blizzards, so not venturing anywhere other than up to the sheep. It's really bitter & the wind would cut you in two. Loads of branches down, but not going down the croft to see if there's any trees down as the wind is roaring up in the trees.

I'll finish listing today & just glide ....I think..might not even think today....such is the gloom.

I was ill yesterday and so I'm going to go out now and finish off sorting the greenhouse out. It's so nice to be vertical!!!
