The sun , the sun!
We are getting a last chance at planting just a few more things out.
A winter flowering honey suckle.....I want a couple more of these I think. And a myrtle.
I am starting to think more about garden design and some lowish but dog proof garden division between the white garden and the north garden. The sun coming on from the east is vital, so need to keep it 'sheer' or low, and trying to make everything smell great. The white side can be informal, or just have white border in front of it. I am trying to decide if a very light arch would look insubstantial next the the house there, maybe growing an arch of something might be nicer? But I would still need a gate.0 -
You have sun?
An almighty black cloud slinging rain down here.
Good bit is we are now back in double figures temperature wise, though. :j0 -
Sun here too.:D
Not that it matters to me, much. Stuck indoors doing domestic things related to decorating the house for Christmas.:(
It's not an exaggeration to say we have about 2m3 of Christmas stuff in boxes, only about half of which gets used in any one year!
It was 18.5C in the poly an hour ago. Nice, if I could get in there.0 -

Just after I typed that ....
....:D
The sky went black like something from revelations and the rain came pouring.
Only lasted ten mins and sun is out again.0 -

Yes, the rain has stopped here, too, now. It's slightly brighter but "sun" would still be a pretty optimistic way of describing what we have.0 -
piddling it down here, grey, dull
one of our piggies has worms:eek::eek::eek:
so just been to order piggie wormer, £44 odd:eek::eek: for a 600g tub, you give 1g per 10kgs, so this tub will last us a while, powder over the food:eek:, and only 7 day slaughter resriction thing.... can also be used for any piggies from weaning age, even piggies in pig.
also ordered a heavy duty galv 6ft water trough thing, to use for the fruit and veg, as with this weather is just getting trampled in the ground, and their normal trough is just for their hard food..
right off on the daily fruit/veg run:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -

Wasn't someone looking for a rental? Have you seen this?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-20585229
It was mainly bloody miserable here today, the kids kept going out and get repeatedly wet, first on the trampoline, then on a walk, then clearing a garden (they're still at an age when they fall over a lot). And nothing will dry....
Better than being inside in the caravan though... The weekends are hard work with three small children, but y'gotta love 'em0 -
