Heating stuff not going to plan.
Aww.....but at least it's not horrendously cold ATM. Have they an idea when they might overcome whatever problem they have?
Chances are, the technology being a bit fresh to this country, few installers are fully up to speed yet.
Did nothing here today. Went to town and hospital, where DW had some good negative news, if you know what I mean.Didn't feel like we'd been 'busy' but I'm whacked now!

Apparently the issue may be resolved by tomorrow, as some geezer on a motorbike is bringing from eastern Europe the bits that are missing and biking through the night. Hmmm.
Tbh, all of that is not the problem, but there has been a lot of blagging...which I dislike, some buck passing, which I find difficult to stomach and just some less than great customer service. (probably nerves on the part of installers, but ....I am being charitable)
There are a few other issues which I will keepsakes about until we know more.
Tbh, there has been loads going on today outside that. I have an equine/client issue to make a decision about that I don't want to make, and of course, this wretched, wretched rain will not stop falling........it's just wretched.0 -
LIR...... what pants:mad::mad::mad: it is so annoying, frustrating, and well bloody dam upsetting, when things dont go to plan, and there are hic-ups.... and as you say this rain is enough to drive anyone mad... It is beyond a joke.... my chicken run here has been just one big mud bath, for months..... Cant put the chickens up the new place yet...
Is it me or does this year seem just a total damp squidand pants, cant wait for it to be over?
Alfie that fag holder is so cool:cool::D.....
Davesnave glad hospital visit for DW went ok...
ITSME OMG that chocolate train must have taken for ever to make, but prob only a few seconds to demolish and eat:D:rotfl:
Its the last farm auction before christmas on saturday....If we can arrange one of the bys to go into the shop, then we will go.Work to live= not live to work0 -
No respite on the rain front, heavy here but I think Devon will get a bucketful today.
Still being flatly ignored by courier over the parcel they have lost, no response to telephone, e-mails or recorded delivery letter to Chief Exec. Not even an acknowledgement. Can any company really be this bad at customer service?0 -
Omg, this rain............
The Lake cake definitely needs some water taken off it too. It's just too much water!0 -

We've had it already. Some sunshine forecast by mid-day.....maybe.
As you know, we don't flood, but there is lots ofhe H2O standing, and the stream is going like that chocolate train. Much the same colour too.
CTC, it's probably been one of the most difficult years that people who work/grow stuff outdoors have had to face, in living memory at least. I still prefer wet to windy, but a year of 'normal' wouldn't go amiss.
DD2 just texted at 6am to say she's back from Bangok. She's been on a late honeymoon for two weeks. Bet she's feeling the difference!0 -
We have had wet AND windy. Not as windy as last year maybe, but still (hahaha) windy nonetheless.
I have my imaginary hobnail boots on for dealing with the heating people later, but it's so grim that after I have popped out this morning I might rifle through boxes and find my doc martins for less of the theory.
The missing bits have been delivered but.....the guy from the heating company.....a company one would presume are well used to building sites?, said it was too muddy to deliver them to the house, he had nice shoes on.....grrrr.0
