Its a shame that things are so stressful for some daydreamers atm.

Speaking of which, for LOTR fans, here's the Embassy Theatre in Wellington

Those of us in these parts could get more wound up if we went looking for the theatre in Wellington, but I'm pleased to see they do offer stress relief within the town....:rotfl:

For the ladies, the alliterative Tom Tingley sounds delightful. Me, I'll settle for DW's massages.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Beautiful sunrise this morning, cold looking, though the morning is most certainly milder, no frost here over night.

Plumbers from the heating peopple are here hopefully finishing up there, I have a picture for you later any way Dave, the flue is in. You will laugh when you see it and you read that it is the 'short' version we are trying in the hope we don't need the long version!

Also Davesnave, I wanted to pick your brains about the city you left. I understand there is a particular area to avoid when househunting. I am soon to start looking again for my non resident parent, and That seems a sensible sort opf place. If the villages south of bath were cheaper they wpuld be ideal, but I am hoping that by being near a 'centre of culture' parent will remain more independant than if near me. Other side of the city would be impossible, if I had to get there its a huge amount of traffic for a short journey!

Chat with DD2 last night put things in perspective. Don't know where she got her brains from but she's as bright as a shiny new button. So her cutting edge research into cancer treatment has evolved way beyond my capacity to understand :(

So last night she was running through a presentation she has to give next week to non-specialists. And for the first time I saw how her research is being translated into techniques that may save hundreds of thousands of lives.

Yet she's exactly the kind of person the City loves to tempt with mega salaries.

Hmmm.... whats more important, cancer treatment or financial derivatives. Saving lives or manipulating the commmodity markets. Having a working conscience or selling sub prime debt to gullible investors.

Rant over, off bandwagon but I'm so proud of the lass.

    I can tell you're feeling better....:p
Actually, if you must know, I was up to my armpits in liver, pheasants and red peppers, fortunately not all at the same time.:D

Yes, forgot to mention 'Pheasant on the Door-handle Season' is with us again. This lot come from some old twit who shoots them, passes them to another old twit, who then passes them on to a lady I know.....hence the need not to hang them up too long! :rotfl:
