Ok, don't panic, we will wait for my car to be fixed then i will come done with dh, who has a talent for catching difficult horses (his allure is so great even horses succumb to it. Failing that, we'll fence her into a corner.;)

I used to show an exmoor pony when i was young that i had to catch mpby move electric tape in until it was a coral then just move fast and hang on. She hated people,:(

I sometimes wonder if half the reason i would have liked a son is because then we could have got an exmoor for him, little boys and rough tough exmoors go well. I love them.

It's great news for chickens if the other EU countries are complying. It will be good news for small producers too, if the result is a buoyant market and somewhat higher prices. We've put ours up to £2 a dozen.

Not that we can step up production quickly here. Up to 8 eggs a day now, but all the surplus disappears to regular customers on a rotational basis. We call, they collect. :)

What is it about digging? I'm all aches & pains tonight from yesterday's trench digging and today's planting of the yew hedge. All the time I've been hedging there's been none of this.:(

After the removal of so many trees over the last few years it's nice to be putting something back. We're only half way through, but I'm pleased with the way the little yews, bought last year, put on growth in their nursery bed and made good roots. Hopefully, they won't notice their relocation too much, as we're keeping the rootballs pretty intact. :)

Lir, I haven't forgotten your seeds; just a bit slow on paperwork ATM. :o RAS, if you are running out of sharks, I can send some up to choille. After all, I have plenty!:D

Just made a tasty chilli con carne with a jalapeno from the conservatory. :D

The toms may be over, and with them the sweet peppers, but the chilli plant is still soldiering-on. What's more, I have a couple of overwintered 'trunks' coming back to life again. :j think they're all chillis though, not sweet peppers.
